I got Kamel 36mg from V4l. Love the flavor, excellent smoothness and hit. Only one problem, when I fill the old cartos up, they seem like they only last for a very small fraction of the time the prefilled lasted. I mean, I'm puttin' in like 20 drops (none in the center), and then I get that dreaded empty carto burnin' taste in like half a day with minimal vaping. Anybody else get this? What's the solution?

I get this too. Using KR808 cartos and 75/25 juice.

Not sure how or what happens but it seems like as soon as the prefilled juice actually runs out, the carto fries. Even though I've been consistently topping it off with a couple drops and making sure it stays visibly moist. You get a mixed juice taste at first, obviously. But then, as soon as the original flavor starts fading away, instant burn taste.

On the other hand, I have successfully washed out and refilled the same model of cartos with the same type of juice and used it for 5+ days.

I think part of the problem may be that you're not topping the carto off. If you let the prefilled carto "run out" or vape until it's nearly dry, you're bound to scorch your carto.

Try topping off the carto with a few drops (start with 2-3) after the equivalent of smoking an analog Keep the filler wet enough that it looks "slushy", as SubSplat said above - but not overly filled with free liquid on the surface as you don't want to flood it. Each time you top off, try doing a "thermometer shake" to really get the juice down in there; it aids in the wicking process.

Another thing: although it may seem like you have been very careful in not getting any liquid into the center hole, somehow it just happens! I like to use dental picks made by GUM in a multi-pack that are cheap and have a little snap-shut case. They have white handles and the top part is a green flexible point with little nubs on it. You'd be surprised when you push it back and forth in the hole the dark gunk it pulls out--- and then the carto tastes better and vapes much more freely.

I think too, that dropping in like most of use do, doesn't fully saturate the filler like the way they probably do it in the factory, soak it for some specified amount of time then place the filler in the carto. That's my gut feeling about what is happening anyway. I wonder if the "condom" method more efficiently (though more messily) loads the filler.

I think it probably does (edit: referring to the condom method), but then you're getting some in the center hole from the get-go.... and gunking it up from the start. Still, a lot of people do it that way, or use a syringe - syringe being the most effective way of loading a carto IMO (even thought I don't!).

Yeah agreed, I haven't ever done the condom method and it worries me to do so, I'd much rather have to refill via dropper method twice for every one time you fill with the more messy condom method!

Haven't tried a syringe yet, will have to order one.
