Refilling existing cartridges & blanks & Atty's

Biggest question I have here is
With 2 seperate models
Can I refill the existing cartridge on any model?
Are some models not made for refilling?
If I buy blank cartridges Can I only get the cartridge that goes to my model...
i.e. Blank 401 will not fit a battery of a 510?

I ordered the Dragon already and need to just make sure if I buy blanks- they can be used on mine and the one we will get for my husband- or if I have to get blanks from our distributor or at least same model type... Hope that wasn't confusing-

Also Atomizers... Do they have to be specific to the model?

If I find a place selling atty's on sale- can I buy them no prob OR I have to make sure it is an atty that will fit my battery/cart?

All cartridges are NOT refillable depending on the model you purchased.
All batteries will NOT fit other models, however they are starting to sell some adapters for this purpose. I have spent a lot of money thinking these things are made by only a few companies and they might all work together but they do not.
You can search here on this forum for the model your ordered to find out most of the info you will need.

I am fairly new to e-cigs, but always willing to help someone with a question, because I think the vaping hobbit (hobby/habit) is a great one.

Being fairly new, I can only answer your first ?? with any degree of certainty. I have a 901, and I refill my cartridges all the time with ejuice I bought. They are both the blank cartridges and the prefilled cartridges. (Both come with the polyfill type filler material) After 3 or 4 refills, I take the filler out, wash it, put it back in, refill it, and put it back on.

I am 99% sure you can do it with most other models of e-cigs, too.

As for your other questions, I don't have enough experience with "the craft" to be able to answer them confidently, but never fear! You are in THE best place to get answers/help!

As Bassn99 stated in his reply, not ALL models are set up to have refillable cartridges. The Vaporking, for instance, has disposable cartridges. Again, as bassn99 suggested, check out the forum section on the type of e-cig you have/ordered and that should help a lot! =)

I think the answer is yes! You need to get carts and atomizers to fit your model. There are a few models that have somewhat interchangable parts, but none of the ones you mentioned.
The 3 piece models are all refillable with juice..because the cart comes off the atomizer. You can get to the filler to rinse it out, dry it and restuff. Then drip some juice on it. After a while you will need new filler, you can read all about your choices in cartridge mods. You can also order extra's filled with juice or blanks.
The 2 piece models are called cartomizers or capsules in some cases. You can refill a few times. The cartomizers are disposable. So far with a cartomizer I got 5 refills into it before it finally died. They are not as expensive as you might think, depending on who you buy from.
Why not just get the same model for now and share the parts. later you can decide what you really want if the model you choose isn't right for one of you.
Don't forget to get some backup batteries and atomizers as well as a few bottles of juice!

Coming back in to say I just watched some cartomizer refill video's..it seems I have been doing it wrong, the refill is done by removing the end cap and the rubber stopper then filling.
This is what happens when you don't do your homework! (me not you)
