I have been reading this site for about a month now. I bought what I think was an EGO starter kit from a new store in town...and they didn't know much more than me.

So much information to try to grasp.

I visited a store in Destin and bought Kangertech mini and a box of coils to replace my initial ego one piece top coil...seems to be a much better vape. ..also bought some juice from them that is a much better taste and bigger bottle....not sure if it is the new mini or the juice itself that's better.

I am not sure that the $70 I spent on the ego was a good purchase...but I have not smoked a real cig in 16 days now.

Glad to find this place.

So it is a good money since you did not smoke in 16 days. How much you should pay to cigarettes in 16 days? Anything which can take you away from cigarettes is good. I am in for 8 months and 6 of them spent with ego type. The device is still sound but out of curiosity I bought an evic and clone vivi nova. I had more problems with nova than I had CE4V3 types, solved though I am happy now I have good vapor and longer time with battery

Welcome aboard!
Sounds to me like that's probably gonna be the best $70 you've spent in years...

There's nothing wrong with the Ego's, many veterans here still have their 1st ego, and still use them whether as a back-up, for out-and-about, etc.

I still use my Vision Spinner/EVODs.

The better taste could very well be the new Kanger, but juices do fluctuate as well... think of cooking, doesn't taste exactly the same every time, ya know?

Hello and welcome,
congratulations - 16 days is a good number to start!
Don't worry about the 70 bucks, many more will follow...
I also like the Kangertech Protank mini and his bigger brother, use them on a mechanical 14500 mod at work.

Have a good time and keep vaping!

Heh... Yeah, I didn't want to be the first to tell him that!
Chump-change for most of us!!!

First of all, Congrats on your switched and welcome! You might think it this way, 70 bucks for a long term health, right?

You can do a research in ECF and you'll know a lot of place that could be potential place to go for cheaper gears.

To get start breakdown info about e-cig, you might wanna check out baditude blog. He done a really wonderful job try to explain thing in helping newbie get start.

Welcome to the forum. I've only been here a little over a month, using a ego style battery and a protank. Since then I've joined Club Provari, discovered the world of rba's and started DIY juice. There is so much to learn here and lots of different ways to find your Vape. Always search out info on things your interested in. Check out all the reviews and comparisons and make your decisions from an educated position. If you ask what makes a great vape? You'll get a hundred different answer, and all could be the wrong one for you. Check out al the sections and sub forums. Find the style and method that best fits your skill set and knowledge base. If looks good to you and you find yourself saying I can do that, that makes sense, that's the direction to choose.

Vape long and Prosper.!!

I am still using my 3 eGo Twist batteries that I started with 11 weeks ago and am very happy with them. 2 650 mah and 1 1100 mah. I like that the Spinner batteries are easier to read the voltage on but I don't mess with that setting very often so it's not worth buying more batteries for me at this point. Although I enjoy looking at all the flashlight & box style mods, I just can't go there myself. I actually lean more toward the smaller cig-alikes and pen styles for vaping in public but I can see how the larger ones might sway the opinions of "it looks like smoke so it has to be as bad a a cigarette" nazis but does it sway their opinions in a more positive direction?

I would have spent more on the cigarettes for sure..didn't mean to sound like I was complaining about the money...just think I might have been better off to research a bit before jumping. Are you saying that the one piece top feeder ego is a option? I was told that it was junk....they are not vaping very well...but they might be worn out and needing replaced....wasn't going to do that but I am re-thinking now.

That's good to hear...maybe I go buy a couple of egos and try this juice in it.....I think these I got from my starter kit are just worn out.

Sure I took it that way of course I wanted to tell you but it works too. If I had started with all my knowledge I would start with ego types again.
I will have 4 will be converters to visit me due to aid in my country, I will tell them to buy ego types first than they deccide to turn into whatever they like.
I still use mine and occasionally I use one top on my evic no complaints at all for 6 months

Thanks for all the replies. It sounds like the EGO is not as bad as I was told by the store that sold me the mini. I think I may give them another shot to supplement the Mini

I do think I should get another battery or two.

Also I had read on here some of the side effects from quitting smoking...happy to report that I have had none of those as of yet.

Ego/Spinners are great little devices! As you get more experience, you'll more than likely upgrade to the Vamo/Provari/Reos...
But they're easy to use, not too bulky to carry, reliable and relatively cheap!

Definitely get 2... pick up a couple KangerTech EVOD's/Protank Mini's, or one of each to try for yourself.
EVOD/ProTanks are again, easy to use, fill and change the atomizer heads when they get too gunked-up or quit working all together.
The heads are easily rebuildable too BTW.

Here is a pretty good place to start, they are reliable vendors and Registered Suppliers of ECF!

OR...
Look around the suppliers list and decide for yourself, it's easy!

Good luck and keep us posted...
