Regular eGo batteries being labeled as "variable voltage" being sold in local smoke shops and tobacco stores

Hello All,
I just wanted to let everyone know that I was in a smoke shop yesterday speaking with one of the owners about their variable voltage eGo starter kits. While testing one of them out, we discovered that only a handful of his variable voltage eGo kits actually had the variable voltage function. However, they were all labeled in a generic box with a print on the eGo battery as variable voltage just a word to the wise...make sure to check your goods!

Are you talking about the multi-volt settable stuff (not the twist and such)? They 5-click to change voltage settings. Yes?

Well, that rots if mis-packaged.

These particular batteries were standard eGo. They were labeled as 5 click 3 settings variable voltage. Only a few of them actually performed as "advertised"
