I know, prevention is the best cure, but I can't help sucking too hard. I keep saturating my tank cartos. When this happens, I set it aside for a few hours, switch to another tank (I usually have 2 x 3.5ml tanks going at once, at least for my NuMenthol) and hope the saturated tank sorts itself out. Most of the time it helps, but only for a short time before it becomes saturated again.

Is there a way to fix a tank carto once it has been saturated?

None that I know of...I have tried cleaning and drying them...but they saturate right back up again.

Perhaps a higher Ohm Carto might buy you more time...I think it mostly has to do with the how much sweetener is in the juice itself.

I do the same thing katz, tho trying not suck too hard is hard sometimes :D. The only thing that works for me is throwing the saturated carto out and using a fresh one, all the while scolding myself! Thought about getting my trusty syringe and pulling some juice from one, will try that the next time it happens and let you know if that works.

That happens to me occasionally. Like Snow, I have experimented with trying to clean or fix them. One day, after spending 2 hours I said to myself... "this is really dumb... these things are so cheap why am I spending so much time?" Usually after about 10 days I have to just toss it. They don't steam well, they don't clean well like the regular cartos. Not sure why that is but it is what it is. Might have to do with the fact that they stay wet all the time.

Rats, I was hoping they could be salvaged.
On the subject of prevention being better than cure, it made me ask why I do suck so hard. I realise as a smoker I dragged really hard and I miss that with manual batteries. I much prefer the draw on the autos. So I have decided to trial using tanks on the 'sealed' auto titans. I know I risk killing a few batteries this way but I think I'll try it for a while, see whether I can get the best of both worlds - tanks + the draw of autos.

Katz I only use autos on tanks, but I first use a manual to 'prime' a freshly filled tank and to make sure there is no leakage before using a auto. Also I'm always wiping the end of tank with 100% proof vodka to get rid of any residue. Only 'injured' one auto since using tanks, it still works but it misfires sometimes. Good luck!

I forgot to add....I still vape those saturated cartos, I just pull them out of the tank and vape them. They vape just fine and juice doesn't run out of the intake holes although the draw is a tad on the airy side. Then when it it's done or I have lost interest I toss them.

Wow, I didn't ever think about trying that! I will try that next time.

Cos it sounds messy and would look weird?

Seriously though, I'm saturating cartos on day 1, not day 10. Every day I have 3 tanks in use - 2 for NuMenthol and 1 for Wowboy Peppermint. If I can get 3 days out of the NuMenthol cartos I feel I've done well, it's more like 4-5 days for the Wowboy Peppermint.

I did as planned, put the tanks with saturated cartos on the auto batts - and they work perfectly! The draw is tight, a nice feeling of dragging on them and I'm getting oodles of vapour.
Out of my auto batts, one doesn't work very well with them, doesn't always activate, might be a post issue, I'll try raising it. The rest are great and so I've ordered more auto batts. Yes, more auto batts. Right after I'd placed an order for more manual batts.

Hehehee, thought of another use for them last night.

DD has to come up with an art project making jewellry out of things normally thrown away. Yep, you guessed it, when they're done, I'll gut them & clean them. She can use the cartos & the white caps from the new ones as spacers to create earrings & necklace.

So far though, the saturated cartos are going great guns on the auto batteries. I do not know why, but it really works for me.

Well one of the saturated cartos was finally a little too gurgly this morning, so I've replaced them all today. Given that these cartos were already on day 2 when I posted this thread, I have had 4-5 days extra out of them by switching to auto batteries. Given that I expect to only get 2-3 days out of a carto anyway, that tells me something - this is definitely about my vaping technique.
