I'm starting to prefer carto tanks over clearos, and I love VG but never use over 50% VG because I smoke the atomizer in a very short period of time. I'm wondering if anyone has had a good experience with 100 or near 100% VG in a carto tank, I'm looking for biggest cloud possible.

How big should the punched holes be and what method to punch them out bigger without punching all the way through, ruining the carto?

Will the wick stay saturated with big enough holes? Should I punch new ones lower on the carto closer to the wick and coil?

What brand cartos, what resistance, dual or single coil?

I have a k100 and two provaris to experiment with vg in carto tank.

I slotted mine with a hacksaw just a little above the top of the bottom cap, then used a fine file to prevent tearing of the o-rings (replacement #7 o-rings can be bought at HomeDepot if using a J-Tank, Check the forum regarding other tanks).

Lately, I've been buying the Boge 2x punch, after having used a saddle valve I bought from HomeDepot. It's easier. Now, I see Boge sells pre-slotted cartos I'd like to try. I use Boba's Bounty which is kind of the standard for VG.

I'd also say that you will go through more cartos with VG, so get extra.
