Hi everybody! So, I have been vaping for quite some time now, but never seem to get around to posting on ECF. It is a slow Friday at work, with not much to do, so I would like to take this time to reintroduce myself to the ECF community, and give a kind of timeline to my vaping adventures. (Note: I know that vaping is a ridiculously subjective matter and that not everybody will agree with the choices that I have made in products. This is just a record of one individual's path through the vaping world. Also, I have owned other tanks/atomizers than the ones that I have listed, but these are the ones that I have used for daily use.)

First off, my name is Bryce. I live in Minnesota in the Twin Cities metro area and have been smoke-free since 07/21/12. My first real introduction to vaping was when I purchased a Sidesho cigalike kit from Modern Vapor. At that time, I was not aware of the existence of mods, or even eGos, and was recommended their website from a friend of the family. This kit did the job well enough to get me off of cigarettes, but it was a huge hassle, and I really hated having to order everything online.

I used the Modern Vapor setup until October of 2012 when my a friend of mine found the website for Vermillion River e-Juice and noticed that they had a storefront in the town that I was currently living. I stopped in one night (hoping to find stuff for my Sidesho) and left with an eGo-C Twist with a DCT (and an education). After using that, I was hooked. The overwhelming lack of hassle, the vapor and flavor that was so much better than anything I was used to, there was just no going back.

I used this setup for a couple of months as I delved a bit deeper into the world of vaping, and at that time, there was one brand name that I kept seeing repeated over and over again......

...yup, ProVari.

I used only my ProVari with carto-tanks for about six months, eventually picking up a ProVari Mini.

And a Smok SID, because it was cheap.

But the time inevitably came in Fall of 2013 for me to spread my wings and start playing around with rebuildables. I started out with a Smok RSST, then a Pyrex RSST.

In Spring of 2014, I bought my first Kayfun (HCigar clone), and then moved on to a Kayfun Lite+ Nano (ehPro).

I had been happy as a clam with my ProVaris for almost two years, and had no desire to use anything else, until one evening last fall I walked into my local B&M and saw a tiny little box mod sitting on the shelf. I figured it had to be some kind of cheap POS gimmick that was maybe on par with an eGo. Imagine my surprise when I found out that it was actually a 20W box mod with a 2200mah battery! It was, you guessed it, the eLeaf iStick!

I bought one for my girlfriend, and one for myself. I fell in love with not only the device, but wattage vaping as well. Somehow a $50 device was able to shelve two $165 ProVaris. It was all happy times and sunshine for me until my girlfriend managed to break her iStick after only about a month. Now, seeing as how it was part of her Christmas gift from me, and I'm a good boyfriend, I gave her my eLeaf (which was still perfect). Needless to say, I needed something else ASAP. Which led me to this:

The Pioneer4You IPV-Mini. This was the first device that I had owned that could fire sub-ohm, and I wanted to take advantage of that, which drew me straight to the Aspire Atlantis.

Honestly, I just wanted to take a break from rebuilding for a while, and I really like the open airflow of the Atlantis.

This setup worked great for me, but truth be told, I had my eye on a different device. Since I had spent a fair amount of money on vaping devices in just a few short months, I decided that before I could get anything more, I had to sell something off. So it was with a heavy heart that I made the decision to put my beloved and trusty ProVaris up for sale. They sat in the case of my local B&M for about a month, until I got the call that my Mini had sold, and for the price that I wanted. That was all the push I needed, I drove down the next day and pulled the trigger on the mod that I really wanted. The Vaporshark rDNA-40.

I am sure that in the future I will change directions, but for now, this setup works just perfectly for me. I may or may not start posting more here, but I just wanted to throw this out there for anyone who was interested. Happy Vaping! :)

I do and I don't. My ProVari Mini sold two days ago, allowing me to buy the Vaporshark, my full size ProVari is sitting at a B&M store 50 miles from my home waiting to be sold (I just don't have much use for it since I went rebuildable/sub-ohm), my SID ended up going to my dad to help him quit analogs (he didn't, but he kept the SID :(), and although I still "technically" own an iStick, my girlfriend uses it now.

The only devices that I still use now are the IPV-Mini for a Kayfun, and obviously my new Vaporshark because I love the bejeebus out of it. Whenever I upgrade or switch directions with my vaping habits, I like to either give my old stuff to somebody that will actually use it, or sell it if I would like to buy something higher end (Vaporshark). I hate to see good mods go unused.

I'm the same way with old vaping stuff. I usually give it to family or co-workers.

Sometimes if it's something really nice I'll list it here on the classifieds, which brings me to my only suggestion for you. Since you now have over 20 posts, you should get Verified so you can buy and sell on the ECF classifieds.

Even if you never sell anything here, you can always look at what is being offered for sale.
