I use "relatively" rather loosely.

A year ago I tried to jump aboard the e-cig train, got aboard, and found quite the party going on. I did my homework, decided what I wanted for me, and got myself a 510. I like the idea of a smaller battery personally.

After a week of waiting I got my new toy, loaded up a cart, and took a puff. To my surprise, it was awesome! I really really enjoyed it.

However, after a few weeks, I got really frustrated. So many flavors, and so many things to keep up with. As a married father of 2 with a 12 hour work day, I just didn't have the time to mix, clean attys, and build the mods for carts. The novelty wore off. I guess I just didn't want it hard enough. So I quit. Or quit quitting (in terms of analogs).... :?:

Recently, my family had a bout with mortality that really opened up my eyes. Something we're still struggling with, so I had to decide to quit those darn analogs. But how? How to I get the closest to the real thing (this was after trying the patch, gum, and inhalers unsuccessfully)?

Then I remembered the wonderful world of e-cigs. I hopped online to see if there had been any further developments. And to my surprise, there WERE!

I am happy to announce that I've bought a one way ticket on this train thanks to Smokless Image. Got myself a Volt (Standard package) the other day, and am currently waiting with the excitement of a little kid one week before Christmas.

Got myself a shipment of Tasty Vapor on its way as well. Caramel Popcorn, Geoffs Blend, and Pina Colada.

Hopefully I can get my way into the community and drop the analog's for good. Thank you ECF for all the insights that helped guide my decision to come back.

Welcome AOK,
You will find many new things going on with vaping. The changes have been great since I started and this is truly a way of life - and a hobby - and an adventure in taste..
There are many willing and ready to help so just hang around a little more and enjoy this wonderful adventure. Again!

Wow! Such a great response so quickly!

Watch out for Geoff's Blend. That stuff is like crack.

Crack?! As in it's so good it's addicting, or tastes terrible but for some reason you cant get enough? LOL.

Thanks for the advice! I searched and searched. The volt only cost me $80 in total. 2 Batteries (78mm), 1 usb Charger, 1 wall charger, 5 cartos for $44. I then ordered 20 more cartos. After the coupon code and delivery it cost me $80 and change. Much better than my first try!

I do think it will be much easier this time around. I personally use mega cartos and have a mod with great battery life mostly because the small ecigs just don't stay charged long enough and don't have enough hit. Mega Dual Coil cartos are very little muss and fuss IMO

Mega Dual Coil?! Now we're over my head  LOL. I will look into them however. Possibly when I need more of a hit. Thanks!

Those do deliver.

AOKr, drop in and let us know how you like the Volt. Good luck!

I will for sure!

That's what i was hoping for it to be in the first place, a hobby. Maybe I'll just become a taster or something. I guess there's many different ways you could make this a hobby!
