Hey guys, new to vaping, and started with a Joye 510 Mega from MVS. Been using 2.0 ohm Boge cartos since I started, and I'm really enjoying them. I keep mine very clean thru a variety of methods, and my current method of rotating 3 cartos has lasted me several months with no noticeable loss in vaping quality. However, they are relatively high maintainence, (and that may be me being .... retentive in my desire to keep them functioning beyond what is generally accepted as their operational lifespan) and I have become slightly annoyed with having to take a bottle of juice and a needle and napkins and all the necessary peripherals around with me to ensure the continued use of these cartos. My question is this: are clearomizers reliable enough to get me thru a day of pretty solid vaping without the added baggage? And if not, what are some alternatives? I have heard good things about tanks, as well as more expensive devices like the ViVi Nova and the REO box mod, but for now I'm not willing to invest that kind of money. With college starting, I can't be bothered with carefully topping off my cartos with a bottle whilst walking between classes, and my job is the same way. Your thoughts?

A lot of the current vendors offer lower cost tanks that will do the trick without emptying your wallet. I use the Delrin 2.5ml VPX tank from Nhaler with a SC 2.0 Boge. The Boge lasted me over three months before I decided it was losing its punch. A full tank lasts me 8 hours at work. Check around, I'm sure you can find a cost freindly tank to play with. Check the classifieds as well. There is always tanks for sale on there. Then you can leave the cartos and filling equipment at home. ;)

Vivi Novas are great and they really aren't all that expensive. Usually no more than $15, and the replaceable atomizer heads are around $3. Maybe you're confusing them with something else? Bottom feeders are a great, easy, and reliable way to go too. You can get something like a Reo that is higher end, but there are also some lower end bottom feeders, the cheapest being the Old Goat, which costs a total of $25 including shipping. Beyond that, all you need is a battery and an atomizer. It really performs too.

Yea vaping different juices isnt really a big concern :p jus want something reliable that I don't have to fiddle with on the go. Definitely gonna look into getting a tank seeing how many people are saying they're good :) thanks for all the replies guys. And yea must have confused the nova with something else... Will have to go back thru browser history and find it. :)
