Before I quit, during a watercooler conversation, someone mentioned this whole e-cig thing. This was somewhere around '09.
Just out of curiosity, I went to a local store and made my inquiries.
Two ego t's for 120 Euros. Still with the old cartomizer and tank at the end system
One bottle of 20ml juice for 20 Euros.
In retrospect, I think the guy was scamming me or overpricing them cause they were novelty, but I instantly turned 180 degrees and walked right out the store with a big NOPE on my face.
Not exactly relevant, but it's sort of a remember when thing, since it's only become a big thing here the past year or so.

I remember my first kit had 180 mAp auto batteries, an atomizer and 3 cartridges full of juice. Oh and a charger. I was told that a cartridge equaled 1 pack of smokes. Paid 24.99 for it and I can say it was money well spent. It sent me hunting for something better and lead me here. :)

I remember my V2 KR808 auto bat and my overpriced dekang juices and crappy kanger clearos I bought for my 808.. After that, I graduated to a red plastic and aluminum Apollo vtube (the hip "vamo" lavatube at the time .) and a vivi nova. Provari just came out with the V2 and I had no cash for it and my brother bought one as soon as they came out. And quickly learned Johnson Creek red oak line was an untamable juice clogging coils and killing my cartos. Tis were the days.. But none the less, cig and chewing tobacco free.

Present day, a provari 2.5 and an HH357 dripping JC tundra as I type this message to you all.. A gentleman turned scholar. :D lol

GGs were the hated on/elitest mod. The eGo was a huge step up. A mod that looked like a pipe bomb was really made out of pipe. VV was a huge advance. Slotted cartos in a piece of plastic tube held by grommets was a tank.

I do remember ... I laugh today thinking about how for a minute the Ego was all the rage . If you didn't have one, you were looked at like the kid without name brand sneakers. Every single thread was like "Get a Ego, gotta have an Ego, you're stupid if you don't have an Ego!". And whatever happened to the Riva??

And you were not considered a serious dripper if you didn't have a 306 atty ... ahhh, the memories

Still have my blue foam and MAP tanks somewhere....they must be next to my roughstack and nicostick..

I still have a lot of love for my rough stack... I'm emotionally attached to it. Though I haven't put a battery in it for a very long time, I continue to think of it fondly and I'm certain I will never part with it.

And, I have not one, but two 5 ml map tanks and a mini-map in a box with maybe 60 CE2s plus some spare O-rings and a couple of feet of polycarbonate tube. I'm not exactly sure where that box is, but I know I didn't throw it away ;) I do not miss tinkering with CE2s. Those sucked.

I was digging for something else the other day and found a bunch of ego-mega attys, a couple of ego-t attys (not sure why I keep those since I gave away all of my ego batts a long time ago), and I found the absolute worst purchase I ever made: I found three giantomizers.

Exactly why I have mine, was my first 18650 mod, hated the switch but polishing it up with a piece of crocus cloth was always fun.
