Made this today for my sx350 build, Basically you insert the vamo 18350 tube into the box mod and drill a hole just big enough for the 510 to slip through, then you glue the tube to the body, this way the chi you cap is removeable and you can adjust it however you like.

Thoughts? :)

This looks like a great idea, it solves one problem I had when planning my own future box mod idea.

The one criticism/advice/potential improvement I would make is that perhaps you might want to replace the wooden 'battery' with something made of Delrin or some other heat-resistant material, the chance of heat getting up a bit in that almost sealed container leading to potential scorching or worse of that wooden block would be higher than if it were made of something heat-resistant

(and yes, I am aware that many box mods are made of wood, however the fact that this is in an almost sealed metal 'container' means it'll heat up a lot more I think)

Again, still think this is a great idea, I'll adapt it to my box mod idea later down the track

The wooden piece could be replaced by a plastic piece or anything else. I also doubt it will catch fire at all, for that to happen the wire has to short at the precise place and heat up to 450 F is extremely unlikely. And since the sx350 has built in protection and everything is properly wired I say the chance of this happening is so slim its not worth mentioning.

Also the 18350 tube measures out at 32mm (no top or bottom cap), you can replace it with this instead to shorten it by 12mm : $2.31 Replacement Kick Tube for Chi You at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

Some people might need the extra 12mm so I recommend getting this tube instead.

I'm sorry but I just don't understand it... what is it exactly, how to you put this in a box mod and what is the use?

thanks
