If there is anyone to blame for hijacking it, it is me, but I believe the question was already answered by Burnie.

:)
Thanks Warp, but I just posted a thread to someone else's answer to the question. Now if we could get a mod to put this info in the FAQ for posting a thread, I know, I am still off topic, my bad, but to me this is an important discovery for people to be able to search better. My appologies to the OP for this post, I hope my link helped you, and if we can help further post or PM us and we will try.

Hmm, I thought I had posted on the same thread that search found, maybe not. Anyway I have had success using a 1/4 inch drive extension. Once the battery is out push in extension and hold battery case with one hand and using a small hammer, tap extension with the other. This has worked with two batts and even a few attys with recessed bridges. It was a complete failure with my 510 PT however and I ended up using a tube cutter on it. It seems that if a fitting is just pressed in it works but if glued in, no way.

That is exactly the problem, you get 70 results and 68 have either nothing to do or just mention lets say "remove", quoting does work in google but does not very well here.

Just try to find right now the thread I posted called "nice looking box mod" without knowing the EXACT title of it, you will get 500 results.

Sorry to take this thread all the way back to this post from Warp, but this search thing has been bugging me too. The forum search on the top of the page is worthless. I'm not sure, maybe it's my browser, or the way I have google set up, but I have a google search on the very bottom left of every page on this forum that works great. If I put "nice looking box mod" in it, Warp's thread is on top... It is a custom search that only searches ecf.

Is it just me??? Doesn't everyone have this?
