It snapped into place, kinda, on my mini just fine. But on the grand, it will not snap into place. When fitting it on, it just feels much less snug than on the mini. I just don't really like the idea of gluing it into place, so I was hoping someone would have an idea of a nonpermanent or semi-permanent adhesive to use.

You could cut of a small piece of rubber band to shim it.

I had a custom button made that was a little loose and would spin. I ripped a baggie open, put a section of one side over the stock button, pushed the new button cover on, ripped the excess baggie off. Button cover holds on firm and does not spin freely. Should also be easy to pull off.

I didn't want to be tortured by the lack of batteries so I left it at my office. I'll go try some of these ideas tomorrow and hopefully have batteries too, so I can fire that bad boy up.

No worries on the battery - you can run an 18490 until they come. Just use the spacers from your charger. If I remember correctly I screwed 2 together and the screw goes right into the spring. It may have been 1 spacer too. Just test if you need 1 or 2. I had the same dilemma as you and that solution allowed me to try out my grand

Ok. You guys are awesome!!

First, the plastic bag macguyver trick worked perfectly. Now, I've gotta build a coil and try supe's trick. While I'm waiting, I've gotta say that my new fav coil is this build.

I guess this is the PID? I don't care what it's called, I'm loving the flavor and vapor from this. For some reason, it's way better than the micros I've been building.

Thank you. E-high 5 bro. Yep. xtar spacers worked for me too. Great trick to use in a pinch too.

Once I used a grand I never used a mini again. It ruined me. Sold one, traded the other.

But I do like my 18490 woodvil a whole bunch
