I figured this day would come, and it did... I got another reo! I received it monday but it's been sitting on my desk, unused until today when I got my atomic back from the catfish (Tom), and needless to say, it's rocking.

I had Rob surprise me on the finish, so I was excited to open the package and see what he picked out. Loving the hammertone, looks classy and it's a bit easier to grip than the black wrinkle. Thanks for another great mod, Rob, works flawlessly :)

And as usual, I wouldn't have even posted this if I didn't have pics, so here they are!

Congrats Jamez brother. Hammertone is an off the chain finish.

IMO it's a must have. It is the most durable finish on any REO I've owned. Non of them are not durable, this is just the most durable. Mines approaching 2 years old and it looks brand ... new.

Anyone that doesn't have a hammertone - don't confuse it with a silver vein. Their Two completely different beasts.

Rock on bro :)

Funny, I just happen to have my hammertone with me now. I grabbed it by accident too - I meant to grab another REO with the red door and Rogue on top.

But I'm stuck slummin with this gig right now :)

It's funny you mentioned that, when I first opened the package, I thought it was a silver vein lol. When I took a closer look, I realized it was hammertone, I was kind of glad, otherwise I'd have to run out and get some clearcoat. That's the main thing that's kept me from getting a vein finish.
