Hi everyone. I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem, and if so what they did to fix it. I just recently became a Reo Grand owner, only been vaping on it a few days. The thing is that I started with LR 510 atty 1.8ohm in there, and it worked GREAT......for a little bit. Several hours later..........the atty started just hissing, and not really vaping the ejuice. It seemed if I gave it juice or not.....or flooded, or anything, it would do this. I went through 2 LR 510 attys like this. So, I then switched to a standard 510 atty 2.2 ohm, and it seemed okay........for longer. After about a day of vaping on it, it did the same as the LR, and started seeming like it was shorting out or just sizzling and not putting out vapor. The vapor it would put out would be metallic/electronic like smell/taste. Someone please help, is this an atomizer issue? Is it a battery voltage issue? I'm using AW IMR 18650 in the Reo. I'm guessing it is an atomizer issue.....not the Reo itself. But, I have heard of other Reo users complaining of a problem with the firing pin and/or the firing in general not working good.

I talked to Robert at Reomods.com. He was very helpful and trying to diagnose the problem here. I am not a noobie, been vaping for over a year......just new to this mod, and forum. It seems as though I might have just had a bad batch of atomizers. If the problem continues, Robert says I can just send it in and he wold trouble-shoot it himself.

I am in no way trying to talk bad about the Reo Grand, I love it. I just want to make sure it's working properly.....money spent. Everyone's opinion and experiences are much appreciated.

Thanks,
Adam:vapor:

Its good that you have the option of sending it in to Rob. When you do, you may want to send your atties along with just so he can have a look at them on the mod as well. Do you have a multimeter to check your atties with? Sometimes atty manufacturers do have some bad batches....we've seen that here with some EM atties in the past. Have you used another atty by another manufacturer? Keep us posted with your findings. It would be good to know what's causing that. And Congratulations on your REO!

Thank you to everyone who responded. I did figure it out it seems. It's as I and everyone pretty much said and thought. It was an atomizer issue. I got some different atomizers from Ikenvape.......which totally kick asssss. I got a 306 LR 2.0ohm and a 510 LR 2.0 ohm. They both kick ...., and work soooooo good on my Reo Grand. Everything is cool, and no problems at all now. It does seem as though I just got a bad batch of atomizers....not from Ikenvape, from a different supplier. Anyways, so far I love my Reo, and I love the attys from Ikenvape.

Thanks,

It seems most of us have gone through or go through the different atty thing. Either switching suppliers, ohms, or types of atomizers. It can be difficult if the one you choose happens to be from a bad batch. A different batch might have the one atty that does that sweet spot just right. When you find the "right one" it is amazing.
