REO holder for your car (an alternative to the cup holders)

This device is either holding my REO or my Blackberry. It IS the greatest thing ever. The mount slides into the CD slot (needless to say, your won't be able to use the CD player).

My car has a connection for iPad/iPod/Sirius next to the driver's seat. I don't think I've ever used the CD player.

Yours doesn't have the little rest at the bottom of the device. My BB/REO sit on the rest - I press the button on the top to release the pads on the side. Neither have ever fallen out.

Sorry for hijacking your thread debz, I just saw the porcupine make a confession and had to interviene. I'll be honest, I just put my BB on lock (since it's the touchscreen bold) and toss it anywhere and my VVG when it's not in my hands driving, just sits in whatever cupholder or my lap.

haha...I'm just one of those "everything in its place" kind of freaks. The darn thing works with my, ahem -- sickness.

Nah, you're more like one of those people with nice practical modern cars, the minute you said ipad connections and sirius radio 'n stuff. Even as a proud owner of a bimmer, I can testify their audio systems suck I had to modify my 330i to bring it into the 21st century. So it thinks the mp3 player is a non-exsistent cd changer, the radio's aux now has a lifetime subscription to sirius with a flushmounted antanna in rear window. And converted the ashtray into a nintendo style slot where you insert your nano. I even needed one of my girl's tiny asian friends to help mount the subeoofer in the roof of the trunk so it wouldn't take up space. I would have kept modding eventually turning it into a Dinan conversion but I fell in love with a woman and ran out of money. Now this car will be paying her way through college when I finally sell it. Ain't love grand

When the drink holders are in use, I have a foam sleeve "holster" in my jeep that I have hooked to the transfer case lever. Protects the REO, and at the perfect spot to grab when I need a quick hit:

Seriously, my online time can be very limited most days. I can digest the regular threads just fine, but when I open the lounge and I'm anywhere from 15 to sometimes 30 pages behind on the conversation, it's hard for me to contribute without sounding like Rip Van Winkle.
