Hey guys, lately i've been rehabilitating a house we just bought. When I put my reo in my pocket it seems to like to flood around the juice well. I doubt it's coming from the airhole but it might. My question is; my RM2 fully "tightened" but not screwed on as hard as I can has the air hole facing the door, slightly on but firing it's facing the back. I'm assuming the sweet spot for where it needs to be is facing the button, and unfortunately, me because that's how I vape. I remember reading that I can tweek either the RM2 or reo centerpin to change the way the airhole is.Which is it and should I twist counter or clockwise half a turn?

If you are in a hot climate then you might need to use the reducer tube to slow down the flow of juice when you squonk. Also, you might need to adjust the length to your squonk. Check by taking off the drip tip and look to see as you squonk.

Are you using a o-ring under the RM2? A fatter o-ring might stop leaking better.

I will let someone else direct you in the center pin turning!

you can use a o-ring, like the one in the bottle, to put under the rm2 in the well. This will allow you to orient the airhole to your liking. You could be experiencing some auto-feed issues, or just putting a freshly squonked reo in your pocket. I have seen my reo auto-feed a bit when it rains, but only on a full botttle. I guess the low pressure causes it.

I know if I pocket my reo it leaks via the air hole in the RM2 unless its stays upright in my pocket.

Sent from outer space.

At first I thought that was all it was, but when it leaks from the airhole I get a big dot of juice on my pants lol! It's been pretty frequent now to the point when I put it in my pocket because my hands are full to walk into the house, after I get my hands free I take my reo out and set it on the counter. When I go take a drag off of it it starts leaking from the juice well.

Don't fudge with the center pin. To adjust the rm2s position you should use a different o-ring around the 510.

Yeah, I don't really want to. I tried it with the o-ring, and it was leaking so I took it off. I'll put it back on today and see if it helps any. It seemed to help without the o-ring for a few days, now it seems like it was better with the o-ring than without. But even with the o-ring it wasn't in my optimal airhole location.

About using an oring under the atomizer, make sure you aren't over-tightening the atty with the oring under it. That will make it just as leaky as if you didn't use an oring at all. Too much compression defeats the purpose of using the oring. One REO and atty set up of mine needs a thicker oring.

Also, if you drilled out your cap, it's quite likely juice is dripping out the hole if you don't vape it dry and sometimes the caps have condensation inside that drip out the hole if tilted. Rob's method of determining the air hole leak is to put on oring just below the air hole on your cap and use it for a while. If juice collects on the ring, there's your answer to the leak spot.

I just found that no matter what I did with one of my screw on tops it leaked. It seems the oring wouldn't seat properly in that particular top cap. I tried a new oring and that didn't work. Then I got a new cap out of one of my SO rebuild kits and noticed the oring was seated perfectly. Took the oring out of that one and put it back in and had no problem getting it back in correctly. That's when I decided there was just something not right about the other cap and pitched it. Put a new cap on and no more leaking. Go figure. When things are mass produced I guess you can get a bad one of anything. Moral - When all else fails replace it.
