I feel like such a noob. I haven't had any issues with my REOs for over a year and now this one and my wife's are leaking in the same way.
Assuming the pic shows up, I circled the areas where I am finding liquid.

Both of these REO's have been updated with the new contacts. I was thinking that the juice bottle tube connection to the 510 pin may be the culprit. Last night I took this one apart, cleaned it very good and made sure that the tube was properly attached to the 510. It was a little loose so I tightened it up and it looked great. This morning it is leaking again. I can't figure this one out. I am sure someone has to have had this same thing happen so I am hoping for some input on what is causing this problem? My atty is screwed down tight. Not overly tight but it is snug. The juice bottle tube is attached to the 510 tightly. I replaced the juice feed tube and bottle cap as well. These are the only things I can think of, especially at the locations where it seems to be leaking.

My guess would be the center pin is not tight enough that connects to the tube and holds the firing pin in place. You have to grip it fairly tightly and use a flat tip screwdriver from the top side, just like Rob does in his video. I am also a believer in putting just a dab of super glue on the nipple before sliding the tube on. The last time I didn't do that it leaked like a sieve...

I did both of those. Tightened, holding pin and using a screwdriver in the 510 and the superglue......

It looks like the juice might be coming in from the top since is shows up around the magnet.

I have this happen sometimes when I over squonk. The juice will come out the RM2 hole and work it's way down the side and into the door.

Get a tissue and place it around the tube at the end of the connector. You will be able to tell where the juice is originating by wet spots on the tissue.

There were some of the little nipples that screw on the post that were sent out cracked or weak enough to crack easily.

If you picked up a rebuild kit a few months back it might have a problem.

Doing the water test should help you find that leak!

Good to know. Yes, I did get some rebuild kits a few months back......Thanks for the info

I had similar recurring issues with the two mods that I upgraded to the new contacts when they first came out. Never with the mod that I purchased from Rob with the new contacts already installed. I rebuilt them both several times. It was never a lot of juice - usually only visible beneath the Delrin. Finally I said F it and admitted that this looks easy and one can easily rebuild a REO but to do it so it doesn't leak even a drop after the rebuild is beyond the scope of my abilities. I'm a freak though.

So I sent them all to Rob for the new 510s. My guess is that I was wrenching the attys too much and / or the positive pins of my attys were protruded and punching the 510 post on the REO thru the gasket.

Never gonna be an issue again. Thank god. I mean thank Rob :)

I have that problem sometimes when I overfill my bottle. Filling the bottle all the way up to where it narrows is bad, m'kay? If you overfill your bottle, some juice tends to come out around the bottle threads, leading to juice on your bottle, on the back behind your bottle, a little on the battery, on the floor, and sometimes it wanders up to the inside of the delrin. I've had the same problem several times, and I've fixed it by only filling the bottle to ~4mm below the 'shoulder'. When I screw it in the bottle looks to be full.

Don't overfill, and check after a bottle or two.

Nope. I typically fill my bottle about 3/4's.......
