I had a strange case of leaking earlier this week.
On a 2-day Business trip, I carried the SV Grand/Nuppin' with me, with the black anodized Grand/RM2 as backup in my luggage., both fully loaded and ready to go.
On day 2, when I tried to activate the backup Grand, the bottle was completely empty and the mod itself was soaked inside.

I carry my backup stuff in an old pipe bag with compartments, that hold mod and all necessary tools quite nicely. padded and secure.
The bag sits snug in my hand luggage and secures an upright mod position with normal luggage handling.

I never had problems with this setup before and I can't find the reason for the drainage.
The 6 ml got sucked out completely and created a mess, luckily confined to the inside of the leather pipe bag.
Beats me...

Nope, I took the train to southern Germany. Maybe, the 300 km/h airstream sucked it out, lol.
Seriously, I kept the hand luggage with me all the time, right by my seat with the mod in upright position.
Additionally, the Grand in my jacket didn't leak at all.

The fascinating thing was that the bottle had completely emptied with just a few drops left at the bottom, not just a spill of some juice.
And my ears didn't register any air pressure changes (which should have affected the other Reo too).
I should close the case unsolved...

That is weird...maybe your juice didn't want to go to southern Germany, which is odd, I've been to Freiburg a couple times and it's beautiful there (I used to live in Kloten, Schweiz...Freiburg is just up the road)...

Are you sure you didn't pick up an empty bottle? I did this once. Took out one bottle intending to replace it with another bottle of juice - different flavor. In my rush to head out the door I grabbed the empty bottle with a tiny bit of juice left in the bottom. When the dry hit came, I squonked. Dry hit. Squonked again...nothing. Flipped up the door and immediately checked my pockets expecting my pants to be covered in juice. Nothing....
I just could not except I was that dumb so I called hubs to see if I left the full bottle of juice on the counter...yup.

Just a thought.

Or you have a gremlin that loves e-liq! Be careful. He will come after the Reo next!

I'd love an explanation like that. But I refilled/checked before departure and the drainage in the pipe bag was real. When I picked up the Grand, the door was definitely closed.
I wonder, if the door somehow was pushed up/down and the bag padding applied constant pressure on the bottle ? All this sounds rather adventurous to me.

I've read every thread I can on leaking. My original REO, I bought it used....they used it an hour LOL. I got the new 510 and then sent it in for the fix and this #2 REO will not stop leaking. I've done the water test, no leaks, tightened the nipple thingy, still leaking. I'm going to make sure I'm not overfilling my bottles. Also, do I need the super glue to put the tube back on? I took both REO's apart the same way and back together the same way, both no glue. REO 1 is and has always vaped perfect. Hope to find the leaking soon.

Clean it all up, but some paper towel or tissue paper inside. Squonk and vape and keep checking the tissue for any sign of liquid, this will help point you to the location of the leak.

Have you replaced the bottle and the bottle cap in case the problem is in the seal of the bottle to the cap, like a problem with the top of the bottle, the cap or oring.

If you have done a pressure test with water and there is no leaking I dont see how it could be the mod that is leaking . Water is much thinner then e juice if there was a leak it would have showed while testing under pressure .

Your welcome to send it in I will test it myself and if there is a leak I will find it .

Oh I'm sure it's user error, not the mod. My first one was just fill and go never fooled with it at all. I've done all the suggestions last night around 6pm and as of now no leaking! Tightened the nipple area, changed bottle and oring, making sure to only fill bottle 3/4 full and not to oversquonk. So far she is hitting like the champ she is! Oh I also have the tissue around the tube/bottle/nipple area...just in case. I love my REOs.
