reo mini cooler vape?

I have a neighbor interested in vaping so after much discussion I gave her my now not used Riva kit. I charged both batteries and set her up with an atty and cart to get started. She was having trouble so I took my atty and tip off of my mini and put it on the other Riva battery. We were vaping away and I noticed that the Riva has a much warmer vape. What is the reason for this? I actually liked the warmer vape and seemed to give more vapor. I use a standard 510 atty and trustfire 14500 battery. Tried the aw ones but noticed no difference. Any suggestions? Thanks once again to my Reo family.

Try the AW IMR batteries again. Make sure they're fully charged. Should be 4.15 to 4.20 coming off the charger.

if you like warm vapor you should maybe consider selling your mini and getting a grand or woodvil. You can run both at 6v (also possible with the mini) and to me 6v is just not to compare with 3.7v

Sounds like you need to try some LR atties. Warm vapor with all your batteries! 1.5 - 2.5 ohms. Pick your poison. I just got some Iken Vape 2.0 Stealth atomizers 510 connection 801 drip tip. I have run them at like 3.6 on my provari to keep from burning my throat!

I had asked a question a few weeks ago about my Mini Woodvil hitting hotter. As I understand, the metal Reos add a bit to the resistance, so therefore the hit is a bit different. I am using a DC on my mini now and am getting a nice warm vape.

I agree with Dan. If you like a warmer vape, then LR atties might be what you're missing. Personally, I prefer sweeter juices so I find the 2.0Ω atties serve me best. But you never know until you try them whether 1.5, 1.8 or 2.0 are to your liking. Hope this helps

It may be becuase the atty was slightly flooded on the reo,No feed on the riva,no flood
a flooded atty is almost as bad as a dry atty.Or the batt in the Reo needed charging

I differ from a lot of Reo users. I use standard resistence 510 Joye Atties. I find it burns cooler in the mini's so I use fruit flavors. In the woodvil it burns hotter so i use tobacco flavors. I have tried the lower 1.5 and 2's and keep going back to the standard atty.

I tried lr atties when I first got my mini because they were recommended on this forum and it just tasted burnt. I use only teaberry and violet so I guess that may be why the burnt taste. I saw wires on the woodville and I'm having trouble with leaking and rusted a spring as is so I don't want to ruin it. I was just wondering why warmer on a riva. I do like it that way but I'm certainly not going back. Been using my mini since Feb. but just noticed the difference.

Speaking of which....have you sent that in to Rob yet? It very well could be the condition of the mod right now that is causing that. Has it always seemed cooler to you or just recently? The woodvils are wired and are warmer vapes, than the Mini and the Grands.

Wood mods will hit harder copper is the reason the metal mods use the body as the ground wood mods copper wire .
aziffel hit the nail on the head on the mini your atomizer is sitting in a reservoir of juice .You pull it off the mini and put it on a standard ecig your no longer flooded and have no restriction so you get a warmer vape .You can get the same vape with the mini its all in the technique

I'm using my back up reo now. Will have my main one in the mail in the morning. I had to work an 11 day stretch of 12 hour shifts so no time to get to the post office. It's packaged and ready to go in the morning. I'm still having leaking troubles with the back up which was brand new. Using the cut off drip tip but still leaking. It self feeds with vg juice just like the other one. I explained to Rob in my note that I tried to use the reducer tube but had trouble and lost it on the floor( I have 4 cats). Hopefully when he looks at it he can find a remedy for me. I really don't like the cut off drip tip because I have to pull it out to refill or it just bubbles up and won't fill. Thinking I need a needle point or something.

That is very weird. What type of atomizer are you using? Is the o-ring in place? How often and hard do you squonk?
