Stephen, I think you will really like the grand if you want hassle free vaping. I've only used mine for 2 days, and I can't think of any mod I would rather rely on. The only precaution that I would recommend is this. When using a new atty or cartomizer, take the battery out and put on the atty, use an ohm-meter on the battery contacts to make sure there isn't a short. Then put the batteries in. This could save you from melting the spring on those rare occasions that you do get a shorted atty or one that is too thick at one point on the connection. I think this would only be necessary for the first time you use the atty or carto. You should be able to switch them out without worry after being tested once.
