Well, my first Reo has apparently left JFK airport (9:48am July 15) and is enroute to Canada. I can't stop checking USPS/Canada Post tracking! So excited. I find myself looking at Reo pics constantly throughout the day....
Anyone have any experience with shipping Reos to Canada? As in time frame, customs, duty charges? I'm in Saskatoon, SK so I imagine it's going to take a while.
Any info is appreciated!
Thanks!

I'm your huckleberry. I've had a few (say, 4) Reo's sent to me in Vancouver.

The tracking code you got will allow you to track the package right to your door (or at least to the local Canada Post "out for delivery" stage). It usually takes about 1 week from placing the order to having the beauty in your hot little hands.

Customs is handled without your involvement. Sometimes it takes 2 hours to clear, sometimes overnight. I suspect the customs clearance is done in Vancouver for me, and so delivery to the door is usually the next day (2 at the most).

No duty is charged. You will need to sign for the package. If you're not at home to sign, you'll get a parcel notice and you then have to pick it up and the indicated postal outlet (usually the next day).

It's really painless and the tracking is quite accurate, so you're not left wondering.

I kept waiting for some form of authoritative hammer to drop (customs, postal service, etc.), but never once has anything of the like happened. Easy peasy.

It has landed in the Great White North! Unfortunately in Montreal, and expected delivery is the 22nd.... Sigh... 11 days is just too long to wait for a delivery.
I've never seen a Reo in person, and anyone I've spoken with here hasn't heard of them. Just seems like such a perfect unit. I'm ready to pack my mech mods in and start squonkin'!

I'm looking forward to you going from a Reonaught to a Reonaut. Hope they're just kidding about 11 days. At least you have the inbound one to use while you polish the others to get them ready for the classies. Hey everybody the over under on this one is two weeks. Place your bets.

Hmmm... depends on whether he went flat or expedited. If the former, it'll be close but I still think "under".
