Hi all REOmizers (*fellow* Reomizers starting next week!)
I'm looking forward to modding some rda's I have on hand, I own a Dremel and a hand drill, no Drill Press available. So, in the meantime, I ordered my first Grand LP with the Reomizer LP so I have something I can use right away. Couple of questions- Is the Reomizer a decent rda? One reviewer who doesn't seem especially thorough mentioned lower quality materials and solely because of the modification, a much higher price then it is worth. I really don't care if it cost a bit more, as it is likely customized after the fact. I'm just wondering how it stacks up performance wise. Also, what is the difference between the standard Reomizer and the LP version? They look to be about the same base width.

Thanks all!
Gary

The Reomizer (RM2) is a very good rda much more than decent. Many honestly can't see having to pay the higher price for other atty's. It is a Triangle that has been modded and it makes it worth paying the higher price for having it modded before getting it. The RM2 and LP RM2 are the same except the RM2 has been milled down to fit inside the catch cup of the non LP Reos. We are Reonauts not Reomizers. Some may be Reonuts, some may be Reonaughties, and before you get one you're a Reonaught but its Reonaut. Welcome to Reoville any other questions just ask we'll hook you up with the 411.

It's a very good RDA. But when you judge it by flavor and ease of build, it's an incredible RBA. some knock it because it's not solid stainless Steel through out.

The mods that Rob has to do to the original make it well worth it.

He drills the center pin, notches the ceramic plate, notches the metal plate under the ceramic, cuts down the high lip around the deck to be just above the deck, replaces the center insulator with a better one. On the regular one he also shaves the base down so it will fit in the drip well.

I could do all of this but it's well worth just paying for the completed product.

...Sorry, I know that, been using the right term all week but- (had reomizer on my brain in this post.)
Thanks for the response. I'm certain it must be a fine product.
Cheers.

There is a lot of handiwork. So I really think it is worth the premium for what is involved. In fact, I believe it is a 2 post RDA, am I correct? I really would like a BF *single* coil for a few reasons- I'm not a big sub ohm guy, about 1-1.3 ohm is my usual "sweet spot" and that's easier w/ one coil.
Also, I prefer a cooler vape, easier w/ one coil. Lastly, better battery life and easier to build. But if not, of course, I could always build just one coil.

I think this will be an important RDA in my arsenal.

I have seven REOS. I have seven RM2's, one for each. I also have a Hornet that sits gathering dust....
Look at the Avatar. They are all sporting RM2's. Like the REOS itself, ease of use and quality product.
Here in REOVille we have a tradition of not knocking or 'bad mouthing' other Vaping Equipment. That's how assured we are of the products Rob supplies for us. I personally would question those who talk down REOS Mods products, but that's just me...

Yes a two posts off set to side so plenty of room to create perfect single coil as a mater of fact it's tricky to do a dual coil in the RM2. SuperxDrifter has much better photos and some great videos on the RM2

EXACTLY what I was looking for! That alone makes it worth it for me (2-post design)
Everything on the market seems to be 3 or even 4 post made for dual (or more) coils. I went there, tried them all, guess I just like a good old single coil. Plenty of vape and flavor for me!

I'm a bit of a tinkerer and enjoy modding different drippers to try out on my Reo. I've modded a half dozen drippers, but when I throw the Reo in my pocket to go out to work or anywhere else, it's got an RM2 on top. I've got three of them and don't have multiples of anything else.

Thanks!

And Super_X, great looking Reos and coils!
