Reomizer 2.0 RBA question

I'm about to order a Reo Mini 2.1 soon. I have read good things about the Reomizer 2.0 rba. However I checked the compatibility matrix in the FAQ thread and read that the Reomizer 2.0 would not work without modification. I'm wondering what that modification might be? Or if another bottom feed rba would work without any hacking. I mean I am a master hacker, as long as I know what to do, but would prefer something that I just put on, coil and wick and go.

That is only the case for older minis.

All currently shipping Reos will work the the Reomizer. If you are getting an LP Grand or LP Mini get the LP Reomizer. Both Reomizers will work on the LP but the LP will look better. The LP Reomizer will not work a non LP Reo.

Are you getting the LP mini or the regular mini? If you get the LP, which I would suggest, then get the LP Reomizer 2.0. If you are getting the regular Mini then get the regular Reomizer 2.0. You will not have to alter either of the attys.

Couple of questions. What's the difference between the LP mini and the mini 2.1? I understand LP means low profile, but I don't see any visual difference and there is no description on the website of the differences.

Why do you cats say this is vaping bliss? What makes these devices so great?

The LP version have the drip well cut down by about 3mm so they can run any diameter RBA. the none LP only work with RBAs that are 14mm or smaller in diameter.

It's bliss because you get the great performance of dripping with the convenience of a tank and don't have to deal with the issues of either.

Look at button to top of drip well, the Reo on the left is the LP.

The standard catch cup will only accept a 14mm diameter atty. LP REO's have the catch cup that is milled down to accept larger diameter atty's up to 23mm.

Ok, so the part that the atty sits on looks lower on the LP model. I'm not understanding what the diameter of the atty has to do with anything, as long as the threads are the same they both should work, right? Or am I missing something? Appreciate the pics BTW.

The internal dimensions of the catch cup is 14mm where the atty sits into it... On the LP version the catch cup is milled down so the atty sits flush on the device so the catch cup doesn't limit you to having to use a 14mm atty no more...

The standard was built before RBA/RDA existed. So it has a deep drip well for use with cartos and regular atties to catch and hold juice overflow. The well is deep enough that what you put on needs to be 14mm or small to fit inside and allow the threads to catch and make contact with the center pin.

With the shorter drip well on the LP the RBA can be larger and does not need to fit inside of the well to make good contact.
