Coffee. I love anything coffee except vaping it. Same with chocolate. Strange I know.

For Rob, Jan, Pietro, Bert whoever showed me a 1lb can of coffee in Denver...... the Yellow and Red can..... Need name please.:)

My Albertson's had two Yellow/Red cans. I got them both because of color. Going to open one now to try in Kuerig.

What ever is in the largest can at the lowest price.
I drank 1/2 a pot in a big mug each morning just to bring me out of my drug induced haze.
Dump milk in it so it's cool enough to get down quick as soon as possible.

I do enjoy a good mocha frappé in the Vitamix sometimes,,

Outside playing with the creepies under the deck. DH is off to grocery so I can goof off a little longer. It is 93F with a slight breeze and sizzling sun below horizon which makes it feel 20 degrees cooler. Humidity below 40 so quite nice.

Anyway, we purchased a Vitamix at State Fair in 70's. Loved it and used it quite a bit. Then gave (loaned) it to DD and she "lost" it in one of her moves. She hadn't even thought about it, for years, until we asked to "borrow" it back a few years ago. Not gonna buy another (saving up for a super duper "$400 juicer - it does green leafy and grasses - I know, I know...... new orange Mini 2.1 woul be 1/3 there.) :screwy: but have to yank myself away from demo stand at Costco every time I go by.

Vitamix went quiet for a few decades and seems to be the rage now.

I use mine daily, wanted one for years (I've fried many blenders) and got one for my birthday.
The new model or "next generation" is 2.2 hp with a wider shorter pitcher.

I've been freezing Peaches, strawberries, raspberries and anything I can from the garden.
I have a green smoothie twice a day.

93 !
You need a banana strawberry smoothie ! :)

Yeah, remember cooking soup and doing frozen smoothies all with same machine and container. Sweet!

We tend to give appliances, exercise equipment, etc., away if they haven't been used for a while no matter the value, and usually end up buying another similar a few years down the road. Only so much room for storage and DH doesn't do well getting down on his knees to get stuff out that is way back in bottom cabinets. Actually getting up from kneeling is the issue.;) "Call 911!!!!"

A few weeks ago I was digging for something that could have been way back in hard to reach bottom corner cabinet. You know, the ones that go back about 36" with small door for access. I found THREE deep fryers!!!!!! We kept buying them every time DH wanted to deep fry, every five years or so, thinking I had hauled the others off to Goodwill. All three are in Goodwill box now.

Thanks much!!! That's one that I got. Not sure which I had yesterday but going up to make a cup now. BTW... used the little reusable basket yesterday first time. Handled the super fine grind (almost powder) really well. I picked those up at BBB for $9.99 for four. AND DH ventured upstairs looking for a REO to use and discovered my hidden Keurig. (I didn't get in trouble. Harder for him to complain now that he wants a $400 juicer.;) ) (I'm so glad the two REOs in plain site were both Silver anodized (Mz D, "our" vintage, pristine Silver 2.0 is "hidden" in cabinet, downstairs with most of the others.) as those are the only ones I "let" him use any more or Curly Oak as he drops them so frequently or falls asleep on them in recliner that usually separates his eGo batteries and the recliner has a voracious appetite.) So it can now come down to kitchen but no room on counters. Soooooooooo...... I'm washing up my beloved Hadley pottery canisters and storing them out of sight. That was a hard decision to make.

(Countertop Oven, juicer, citris juicer, two induction cook tops, knife block, blender, dish drainer, doggie treats, and wood breadbox with most used vape juices, take up so much space. I'm perfecting using a 2' X 2' surface for meal prep.)

Huggies to Ratman clan, Feisty Alice

Thanks for coffee thread. Rob or Julie or Pietro. Do you remember the steps Bert took to make the most excellent coconut milk cappuccino? Best I've ever had. I had a sip of the coffee, pre cocconut milk, and it was fabulous. Did he use expresso machine and what coffee? DH picked up some cocconut milk today. I have an expresso maker that steams milk, stored in garage. Kuerig makes good expresso size strength (unless you ask Kay :p ) so hate to get it out; one more thing to take up precious counter space. I guess I could ask Bert if you don't know. He texted me last night that most excellent Monkey Business juice back in stock at 501vapers. So thoughtful. Of course I had to stock up. I'm hiding it from DH and hogging it all.
