I started vaping on February 12, 2011
My first e-cig was the KR808D-1.
I had been active on the forum from the first day of vaping. When I wanted a different PV I started my search to see what I could get that would give me the easiest way to vape.
Without talking to other vapers about the various PV's, I made my decision to try and get a metal REO.
The deciding factor was the fact that it was all mechanical and made of solid aluminum. There were a couple of Mini's on the site. I checked the classy's and found a Purple Grand for a good price. The decision was easy.
I bought my first REO on March 11, 2011
I have been thinking for awhile on what to write on this thread celebrating a year with the REO as my only PV.
I thought you might enjoy seeing some of my early posts. As a newb with vaping and just buying a REO, I had a question for the REO forum:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/169239-3-ml-bottles-reo-grand.html#post281
I was wondering if the 3ml will work on the Grand. The 6ml were not in stock where I was shopping.
My excitement level was high waiting for my first REO:

Twas the night before UPS knocks upon my door,
With box in hand addressed to me
My feet will hit the floor
'Cause I know inside that plain brown box
Wrapped with plastic bubbles
A purple REO calls to me
"Good-bye to vaping troubles!"
I pity the poor guy in brown holding that little box
He has no clue how my life will change
But I know a REO rocks
As fast as lightning I will sign
So at last within my hand
The perfect little vape machine
Will have lifelong fan
My REO arrived, and I was learning squonking:

I only started vaping last month. I started out with a KR808D-1 and cartomizers.
My REO is the first time I have used an atty. So, I am learning about them as well as my new REO.
I feed juice till I see it just start to come through the holes in the well. My problem seems to be that I feed more juice before I need to. I just don't know when I need more in my atty. I am constantly pulling off my drip tip and looking to see if I can see juice in the atty. I am guessing that juice should be visible around the outer part. I am also paying attention to the noise I get when I fire the atty. When I am just getting the hiss and not a lot of gurgling I get worried that I am going to burn it up. Ok, I am OCD about this and it is not letting me enjoy my REO like I should.
Bottom line, what will help me vape this REO with pleasure instead of worry
Time passed and I had to share:

The decision to buy a Reo instead of another mod was not a difficult decision for me. I was extremely lucky to find a Grand in the classifieds that was in very good shape and priced fair. That was about one month ago.
I just wanted to post that I am very satisfied with my purchase. The quality of the build, and the performance are at a level that surpasses my highest expectations.
There is just one problem...........
I am now faced with an anxiety about EVER being separated from my Grand, the Purple One. I must fix this, and soon.
I could take therapy, ask the doctor for meds, or perhaps there is a simple fix.
As soon as the Grands are up on the site I will buy a new Grand.
It would never take the place of my first perfect vape machine, but it will give me comfort knowing two is always better.
Thank you Rob, for what you have achieved in designing and building. Your talent and attention to detail, give us Reonauts a product we can be proud to use.
If I only knew then!:

I shoulda thought of that! It sure seems to be true! I am not sure though, that I can stop at two!
Looking at a sale going on for the Woodvils this would be my second REO and first REO made of wood:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/reos-mods/95123-reo-lounge-reo-grand-opening-sale-19
I can't believe the purpleheart/bocote woodville is still available. That is very pretty, and would kinda go with my purple/purple grand. Please, somebody make it stop calling me!
Yes, the "hook" is working...Hard to think of a woodville that gorgeous being a back-up. If I could be sure I would get a Grand next week before my trip I would stop looking. But, I just can't stop right now.
Noticed something, the purpleheart/bocote does NOT say 510, the rest do. Anyone guess what it is?
Ok, ladies out here, any problems with the Woodville fitting your hand? Does it feel bulky at all? Please help, I am about to push the buy button!
Well, I was not kidding about making the purchase. The Purpleheart/bocote is now mine!
Funny how it worked out. I bought my Grand at my 1 month anniversary vaping. Now it will be 2 months on the 12th and I have purchased a Woodville!
That first year seemed to fly by. I could not have guessed that my first REO purchase would infect me and I would end the year with 36 REO's.
It has been a wild ride. And I don't want it to end!
I must thank Robert for his quality workmanship that has allowed me the opportunity to embark on the REO way of vaping. Without his work ethic and his dedication to make REO's, I would not be here!
To my REO family I also wish to extend my thanks. Many of you have touched my life in more ways than I can say. I am proud to belong to a such wonderful group of people!
Here's to another year, more REO's and more good times in REOVILLE!
