Reos Grand #6?

Starting to think about #6. I want a SL/LP, but the big decision is TRA, or Hammertone. I already have a hammertone Grand LP, and really like it, and would like the hammertone, SL/LP to go with it. But still I can't make up my mind which of the two to get next. I'm in no hurry, as I would like to save a bit more money, but still a big decision to make. Who knows, maybe one or the other will show up in the classies at a good price, and I'll just jump on it. That would be the easy way out.

Don't have a Hammertone Reo, but do have a LP Grand TRA. Easily my favorite metal Reo. Their "feel" in hand is unmatched by any of my other metal Reo's. A LP Mini TRA will be my next metal buy from Rob.

Of the two, I'd go TRA. I have a solid and SL version and they're awesome. As Spydro says, the feel is unique - they just feel more solid in the hand. The only thing I've noticed is that they can get quite chilly in cold weather, which should not be an issue for you CA folks.

The hammertone is really nice, don't get me wrong, but you already have one of those. The TRA woud broaden your horizons more, IMHO.

Did you realize the RM2 wasn't an LP when you bought it?

When I bought it, I didn't know the RM2 would come with it. Realized it a bit later. It'll still work until I get an LP RM2.

Oh well...you're going to love that SL TRA Grand! I have the same in the Mini and I really love mine.

Hopefully my new to me SL/LP/TRA Grand that I picked up off the classies a couple days ago will be here Monday. Can't wait to see it and try it out.

The door from the TRA SL looks sweet on a hammertone.

Once you get used to the SL doors it's hard to go back to non SL doors.

I just picked up a black wrinkle SL door for my black wrinkle mod. Love it.

The TRA door does double duty between the TRA and HT.

Try the black wrinkle SL door on the TRA body - there noooo going back from that combo, IMHO.

Yes i LOVE my SL TRA door on my Reo. I will only buy SL doors from now on
