There has been a VV Grand up for sale in the classies since the 16th. I'm wondering why it's still there.

It's not showing well - the images are small, dark and muddy looking. Don't know what finish that is either - if it's black anodized you can't tell from the photos. Lastly, it's the early recessed button. Add it all up and it's not moving at that price. Better photos would be a huge improvement.

What's the story behind the recessed button? Was there trouble with it?

I've been trying so hard to find VV woodvilles but they disappear just as quickly as they go up... I got lucky once and grabbed one as soon as it went up but I think that one was only because it was priced very high and not in the best shape so might have caused others to stumble for a minute. I wanted one so bad that an extra $50 over what it should be worth was well worth it to me. then I got lucky with another one that someone else bought but when they got it they discovered it was cracked so they were returning it.. I intercepted and got that one too :)

I'd really like to get my hands on one more VV woodie :D

I don't think there was any trouble with it - not that I have seen posted about - it's just... recessed. Don't know how many went out in that style before Rob switched to the Woodvil type button. It would have to be a color I really, really want with a recessed button - and I already have a VV in black so... Somebody here has a recessed button model in yellow. If that ever went up I would make it gone in two minutes or less.

I think the problem may be that Rob no longer makes them, and people are Leary of buying a used one.

Not me anyway. I would/will buy a third one - but it has to be a color I want and this ain't it.

I saw that one too and it just popped in, and by the time I read it and saw the pics, someone already snatched it!

That was me..the snatcher!

I had forgotten my eyeglasses in another room and was squinting at that classified ad on my computer and could really only make out the word.."reducer".

I was thinking..."I could use to drop a few pounds"..so I bought it. I wasn't sure exactly what this "reducer" was, but the seller, (Vapeaholic) is a highly regarded and Top rated seller on this Forum and was not at all worried. I am confident I will soon be shopping for some much smaller clothes.

Heck, I was also thinking I might even have bought items I long have lusted for! Of course I'm talking about a Suzanne Somers Thighmaster (Gold) or the full Tamilee Webb’s Buns of Steel Collection! Everybody knows those work as Great reducers.

So that I would not error entering my PayPal password, I went and got my glasses. Fully reviewing the ad it seems I also got some nice bonus items too!

There WAS trouble with the recessed button on the VV Grands....it wasn't very reliable and was failing frequently early on. Rob was replacing them with the bigger button for free. After the first run, he quit using the recessed button altogether.

The original VVG with the small recessed button I recently bought stopped working in short order despite the rest of the mod being in mint condition. Have too many other Reo's to fall back on, so I still have not made the time to check it out so don't know why yet, whether it is the button, the pot or something else.

Huge chance it's the button. They were definitely the weakest link.
