So I got my much awaited gem of an atomizer in mail today. Postman must be getting tired of me stalking him haha. I sent off my Trident V2 to a guy here on the forum to convert it into a bottom feeder. I'll post picturs when I get home, my 4G signal is awful and I can't get my phone to hook up to the WIFI for some reason.
Anyway, the bottom of the 510 connection was drilled, and then into the positive post, two, vertically diagonal holes were drilled down towards the center of the post, facing perpendicular to the posts. Meaning that the juice flows exactly toward where the wicks are supposed to be. I couldn't have asked for more from the job that was done, and you know who you are!

This is a far more satisfactory vape than the Reomizer, at least for me. I like being able to do lower ohms with dual coils rather than single coils, because in theory, there is the same amount of energy being applied to more wire, resulting in a cooler vape, and more coil surface area meaning a whole lot more of this :vapor:

And a happier ReoNaut! Of course for this to work for you, it has to be an LP grand or Mini (does Rob make LP mini's?) but my gosh it's worth it. It's an EhPro Trident, not a Grand Vapor authentic one, not sure I would want to sent off an authentic for a chop job, but it's really doing it for me. Squonking is impeccable, and the job was done perfectly, allowing drainage/suction of excess juice, just like the Reo is designed. Makes it a little top heavy, but hey, the vape far outweighs a heavier RDA for sure.

Let's see your modded RDA's for your Reo's!

I have an IGO-W4 I particularly like running on an HCigar Nemesis. I'd love to be able to make this one into a bottom feed. I run dual coils, .5Ω and hits like a champ. I have a Trident by EhPro also, but hadn't considered making it a bottom feed. I like the smaller chambers for outstanding vapor and flavor. For me though, single coil RM2s hit pretty awesome.

I disliked the RM2 because it had a tendency to shoot hot flecks of juice at my tongue, not a particularly pleasant feeling. Not so with the Trident. The ECF member who did the mod for me is Quigsworth. He did an awesome job and all I had to pay was shipping. Doesn't sound like he'll be doing another Trident though, he told me he wound up snapping a drill bit in the process. Fantastic work though. Pics coming by the end of the night...

Alrighty guys, here are the much anticipated photos!

The device

This is a direct view down one of the holes where the juice rises up. There are two, one on either side

another view

This is the bottom post. Quigsworth snapped a drill bit in an attempt to drill straight up through the bottom, so he instead slotted the sides of the positive 510 connection all the way up to those two holes on the top

The squonking flow is a whole lot faster on this than with the Reomizer with a single hole up the middle. Faster squonk times for me. Just works like a charm. I blew through 4 mls between noon and 8pm today, most of the time I was in class (not vaping) so it sure is a pig.

Next step is to strap some ceramic ReadyxWick in there and hopefully be an even happier ReoNaut. Can't imagine vaping being any better than this as of right now
