it is hard to tell, but it looks like the ribbon cable at the screen may have a tab on it so it can be pulled out of the screen. Just a friction connection. That being said, getting the ribbon back in can be quite challenging on some components. I myself would probably change the entire unit...but I have worked on small electronics for quite a few years and have a few nifty tools that help. Caution with ESD issues also these things and static electricity don't mix at all.
