Well, as the thread title suggests, after a few months of wonderful daily use I've noticed the (delrin?) insulator on the build deck of my Lemo (1) starting to go. It works for now, but it's just a matter of time at this point. I typically used a .9-1.5 ohm coil with twisted 28 or quadruple twisted 30 gauge kanthal, didn't overly dry burn, nothing too crazy save for one .75ish Clapton I put in not long ago, typically stayed between 14-25 watts except for the Clapton, that went as high as 33.5 but usually somewhere in the mid-high 20's..... Anyway, anyone know where I can get a replacement insulator, or of any other RTA deck insulator that may work (Kayfun/Lite/4 perhaps? Of course there's no shortage of repair/upgrade kits available for those but I somehow doubt the piece fitting...the shape of the actual insulator looks close enough to warrant asking, though I'd imagine the overall size/positive pin cutout not matching up)
I absolutely love this RTA as it suits my vaping style perfectly and fulfills my requirements for a daily driver delivering full flavored vapor while out and about at work and such where dripping isn't feasible and would love to bring it back from it's (almost) death. Failing that, there seems to be a slew of new-ish similarly priced RTA's that are getting positive reviews, if I were to go ahead and order a completely new one any thoughts on which would offer similar or better performance within my requirements? (Which would be that wonderfully flavorful, full, "moist" vapor the Lemo delivers, capacity, single coil, similar price point; in that order. Adjustments to build without dumping the tank a secondary honorable mention, but not at the sacrifice of flavor...I already have a Subtank Mini with modified juice channels that serves just fine as a backup tank, dry hits a non issue, but it doesn't quite hit that level of full, wet flavor the Lemo delivers, which I've grown to love. If buying a new tank is the answer, I'm looking for a dedicated RTA that does everything right, which frankly was the Lemo until the insulator started going)
I know this is a long shot, which is why I figured it may be time to start looking at your thoughts on the new players on the RTA field, but I'd be immensely grateful if anyone could help extend the life of my favorite. Thank you!
