This report starts off as more of the same grim reading we are all used to: foolish doctors speaking without thought or knowledge first, and then going on to solidify their policy based on that ignorance and prejudice.

But then, toward the end of the article, a brave doctor must have stood and annoyed the other delegates no end with the pesky truth. Perhaps that's a first ..... of light; I don't think the BMA can stay so ignorant in some quarters and deliberately myopic in others for ever.

I noticed she is a GP, in other words someone who generally gets to know their patients well and a vaper herself.

Dr L-J Evans, from the BMA’s GPs Committee, said she had been a 30-a-day smoker before using e-cigarettes to quit three years ago.

“Some smokers are going to smoke until it is made illegal, and probably even then,” she said.

“Every cigarette they don’t have by replacing it with an e-cigarette should be seen as a good thing. Let’s not be so puritanical.”

It's not so slowly spreading and if she was willing to say this at BMA's conference you have to wonder how many feel this way and are not speaking out.

Once ecigs reach their potential and combustible cigs are all but extinct, I'd like to revisit these discussions and rescind the license of all these doctors who spread malicious, fear mongering lies about vaping.

Yes, I'm making a list, starting with the glANTZ 129 from the WHO letter, and now these BMA guys
