So, before I started vaping I rolled my own and I still have a lot of the hardware laying around. I've recently taken the plunge into RBAs and was frustrated with the lack of a stable platform for working on them. Scrounging around my basement I spotted a critter I'd completely forgotten about...

I peeled off the stickers and scruffed up the finish (the chrome made it really hard to see tiny screws and washers). The lip around the top deck makes it perfect for holding small objects that might otherwise be misplaced on a large workbench. The rba base is the knob off the handle which I bolted to the base where the handle originally sat. I sanded out the inside of the knob and glued on an old 808 to 510 adapter I didn't need anymore.

Stylish and pragmatic. I was quite please with the result (although I'm thinking of gluing a piece of flat rubber on top to make a better work surface).
