Resistance compatibility confusion

Just when I thought I made the right move purchasing a kanger protank mini 2 I read about coil resistance. The one I order comes with 2.5 ohms. What I read was 1.8 is what is compatible with my riva 1100 mah battery. What to do?!

The 2.5 will work. I think the common school of thought is for fixed voltage eGo style batteries 1.8 - 2.5 work with 1.8 - 2.2 being the sweet spot.

I see your battery is a KGO. You should still be fine. Next time you should be between 1.7 and 2 from what I just read.

Thanks for the info. I'll see how these work out and if not now I'll now which replacement coils to buy. yes the brand is riva but I think they are similar product.
