I use an eGo Twist and my sweet spot is at 4.2. I have been using basic clearo's but just ordered an Kanger eVod - Bottom Coil Changeable Cartomizer and was confused on 2.5ohms(SR) vs 1.8 ohms(LR) Coil replacement. Which one is best for my ego twist...Just trying to make sense of it all.

Thanks!!!!

If the twist is the only thing you're going to put it on, then I'd recommend the higher ohms. This will draw less current off your battery, and it will longer without needing to be recharged.

If you have a non-VV device that you may put it on, then I'd go with the 1.8ohms.

Either will work on the twist, and you'll just compensate for the ohm rating by adjusting the voltage until it tastes right (probably around 4.2-4.6 for the SR, or 3.3-3.9 for the LR).

the easiest way for me is to basically double the ohms to get the right voltage - dunno how accurate this method is and don't rly care, seems to work well, so for ex for a 1.8 ohm atty the ideal voltage is anywhere between 3.5 and 4.1 volts. anything higher will torch it and under 3.4 will yield little to no vapor. i use 2.4 ohm vivi heads @ 4.7 volts on my spinner and its poifect.

All good advice above, I prefer a 2.5. I agree with Darkhood, except the higher your ohms, it is more like a 1.8 X ohms (for 2.5) or 1.9 X ohms (for 2.2) IMHO. I start there and adjust. The more PV, the less volts I prefer, I generally start at the guidelines above and gradually crank my twist up until it starts to taste burnt when trying a new flavor.

yep that's why i gave outlines...minus .2 volts on either side is a good rule so 1.8 ohms = 3.4 to 3.8 volts generally (altho personally I rock a 1.8 atty @ 4.2 but that's cuz its bridgless and special designed to eat my ignorance lol). on that note 306 bridgless dripping atty from smartvapes = wise investment if ur a nooberies. :D ul get the hang of it, its ok to go lower than recommended cuz nothing will happen except ul get no vapor - going past 2.2 x is a risk of burny throat time tho.
