Huh? What is 2.8? Resistance, given in ohms, is for attachments... tanks, atomizers and such. Either should work on most batteries although if the "Dual Heating Core Atomizer" is actually a dual coil you might find a standard ego a bit under powered to get the best you can from it.

That's a 650mAh eGo style battery with a 2.8 Ohm CE4 clearomizer. To be honest, 2.8 Ohms is going to be a bit underpowered on a 3.3V device. You'd be better off with a 2.0 to 2.4 Ohm clearomizer.

The CE6 will work with that battery, but I'd still recommend a lower resistance. The "Dual Heating Core Atomizer" is a bit of a different beast, and I'm afraid it's not something I've ever used myself. It will work on an eGo battery, but I'm not sure about the resistance.

Yup! :)

There are really two main kinds of threads that connect the battery to the attachment, "ego" and "510". 510 is probably the more common of the two but most batteries, such as the two you have listed, have *both*. Anything that has either kind of thread will fit either battery...

BUT what jSquared and I have both said is true. Those batteries are "fixed voltage" and really under powered to drive a 2.4 ohm dual coil. Those batteries are good with a single coil in that resistance, like a clearomizer, vivi or kanger product, and even better a bit lower (1.8-2.0 ohms). If you sure you want a dual coil tank you should really consider a battery with variable voltage ("VV"), like the "twist" or "spinner", that will let you turn up the voltage a bit.

Maybe this will help a little:

Those will also work. However, that doesn't look like a genuine Vision Vivi Nova. I'd be a bit careful with the copycats. Any clearomizer with a 510 connection and a resistance of 1.8 Ohms to 2.4 Ohms will work well on a standard eGo battery. Is there any particular reason why you're looking to order from FastTech as opposed to a dedicated e-cig supplier?

I'm unsure of what I'll like and that place is cheaper.

Cheaper does not always mean "as good as something more expensive". I buy things from Fasttech too but for a beginner? I *highly* recommend you spend a dollar or two more and buy something from a reputable vendor that can answer questions, ship quickly and process returns quickly if there is a problem... none of which you will find at Fasttech or any other China mainland supplier.

While I might buy tanks and such from Fasttech, etc. it's because I have the experience to fix the device if it isn't what I expected when I get it. I can even recoil it from scratch if/WHEN the listed resistance is way off from what the website said... and that happens more often than people like to talk about. YMMV.

Yes, cheaper does not mean as-good-as-quality. But I have given inexpensive kits to a bunch of people (to help save my pocketbook), and most of them have had good luck with the devices to at least get them started. I have had one battery fail (within a week) out of the cheap kits I have bought. They had no problem buying a new battery to continue down the line due to having found out that teh e-cig worked for them. Plus, FastTech does have a good return/replacement policy (how good it really is, I don't know). I have had a few Joye products fail early in their life as well, so paying more doesn't mean you are failure-proof either.

+1 what Oktyabr said. I suspected that price was a driving factor, but I just wanted to check. In my honest opinion, buying cheap (especially when it comes to clearos) can be a bit of a false economy. If you want to spend as little as possible, I'd recommend the following:

1 x eGo Twist 650mAh battery (plus charger)
1 x Vision Vivi Nova (comes with three different heads)
5 x Boge 2.7 Ohm cartomizers
1 x Joye 2.2 Ohm atomizer

That would give you a pretty good insight into the most popular delivery systems on the market at the moment. I'm sure Oktyabr will be able to tell you where you can buy all of those things (or equivalent) in the US.
