Just started a thread in the Accessories forum. Weird thing is that you can't resize uploaded images. (There are other weird problems as well) To be clear, this is what I'm doing (according to the instructions in the sticky in the How-Tos)
- Manage Attachments;add files from my PC
- Drag them into the "attachments for this post" lower area
- Didn't press "Inline", just "Done" as I wanted to put them in-line individually.
- Now in the message editor, I click the paperclip button. A drop-down appears, which should be listing the files. (as in screenshot in How-to). Instead, it's blank. This is not a big problem, as I just guess-select one of the "invisible" file names until I get the right one.
- Image is now in the post. It has sizing-handles, but dragging them doesn't do anything; the image just pops back to its original size.
I'm not after posting enormous images. Just that you can get a better idea of what's going on from a larger (and lower resolution) view of an image than from the default tiny size. In the end I resized my images in GIMP before upload, lowering the JPG quality to keep them below 50k. Didn't seem to make a difference.
