Phillipps Famous Seafood is the name of the place

I had a 2 hr layover, I asked a waitress, she said sure, we get a couple vapers a week in here ... anyway, much recommended, the cream of crab soup was very good ... full bar too

Thanks for sharing. At least some establishments are recognizing the difference between vaping and smoking.

talking with the mgr, he said "it's just water vapor and it doesn't smell, so why not ?" ... he must be familiar or at least informed

I got no strange looks from the employees, a few looks from customers, altho no one said a word to me or protested

congrats to Phillipps Famous Seafood ... the employees did not know if vaping was allowed anywhere else in the airport

How brave the manager at Phillipps is. Pioneering is always a gamble. Any of us traveling through Charlotte MUST drop at least the price of a bowl of soup at this enlightened establishment.

I live in Charlotte and have vaped in the USAir Club at CLT on a number of occasions with no issue - and this was after they closed the smoking lounge in the club.
