Hey all,

So about a year and a nine months ago I jumped into the world of e-cigs and kind of went crazy. I started out on a 801 and moved to a 510 and when the V1 Prodigy came out I got that and never looked back.

I eventually got a 6v mod as well but by that point I had decided I was tired of it, boxed up all my stuff and sold it on this site.

I'm sick of my Pall Malls again and am considering getting back into e-cigs as they helped me before but I'm kind of at a loss as I haven't been keeping up with the community and what's new/good now.

Would people mind recommending me a good 5 or more volt e-cig, a reputable place to get atomizers that aren't stupid expensive, and their favorite juice shops (sample packs a bonus!).

Not too worried about cost as I am getting a damn good e-cig first off that will last me and not be a pain in my ....

Thanks - looking forward to coming back and kicking the habit again.

Brandon

Go with Variable volt. Why be stuck with a single voltage when you can dial in any voltage you want. I got a Provari from Provape.com. They are registered here on ECF. Its a pretty slick device and I have been more than pleased with it. The Darwin is also highly praised. You just set the wattage and it adjusts the voltage according to the ohms and maintains that wattage. Just a few suggestions. Those two seem to be the most advanced mods out at the moment. The only thing they dont have is a juice feeder.

the GLV2 from great lakes vapor sounds to be a solid 5v device if you dont want to go VV. plus they are made in my home state so I have to give them props!

I like Freedomsmokeusa.com for juice. Tons of options and keep an eye on their section here in the forum as they like to run sales all the time. I was able to get 40% off a couple months ago, it was nice. My two favorites are Wyatt Earp (kind of a sweet and spicy tobacco vape) and hypnotic mist (cotton candy like, but really smooth and lots of vapor) Others include AlienVisions (bobas bounty is raved about) and bluemistvaping (I love the carmel tobacco).

Cisco runs avidvapers.com. Hes really reputable around here and his attys come primer free which is really nice. I've only used his LR 306 atties (before I got my ProVari). Greenhouseone.com ships from china but is a great value and he offers a warranty. If you buy in bulk to cut down on the shipping per unit you can come out with some great deals. he also sells factory debridged atties if thats your thing.

Good luck and welcome back!

I'll second going with a variable volt, and also second going with the Darwin if you can afford it. Had I been smart, I would've gone that route. But instead I looked at it and just decided it was too expensive. Ended up with an ego (and bought extra batteries), then moved to a 5v mod (and extra batteries), and then broke down and bought a Darwin- all within 45 days LOL. Yup, could've saved myself a bunch of money if I had just gone with the Darwin to begin with. nhaler.com is the only place that sells them, and currently they are out of stock.

My 2nd choice would be the Provari- Awesome unit, but the Darwin wins because (a) Darwin can be adjusted on the fly, (b) Darwin automatically adjusts voltage when you change to different ohm atty/cartos (c) Darwin battery will last more than all day without need for a charge.

The Darwin looks beyond awesome -

I guess I'll start checking out the nhaler forum to see when they get more in stock.

Thanks all and if anyone else has any suggestions keep them coming!

P.S. Considering getting a V3.1 Prodigy. My original run V1 did the trick for me and it's not... terribly expensive. I mean it is but yea. Could be gotten by the end of the week.

Had you tried any low-res atty's at 3.7 volts? If not, I would suggest not ruling out that option, as it provides a similar vaping experience to 5+ volts with a regular atty. How about a juice feeder? You didn't specify what "tired of it" meant - if you mean fussing with dripping, carts, etc., then a feeder might be just the ticket. After getting my first REO Mini last fall, there's no going back.

As for atty's, I've had the best luck with Cisco's and Ikenvape's - they're not cheap, but they last.

Best of luck!
