Returning to the E-cig Community

Hello everyone,

I recently just got back into the game of e-cigs and man, has it changed. So I've been doing a lot of research but the only thing I'm stuck on are mods. I've read the stickies and that made me understand how they work, now my questions to you guys is where would I go to find a good mod or variable voltage device for a intermediate user who has a strong past with e-cigs? There's got to be some place on this forum that helps draw a picture as to what people should start out with and why, things of that nature. With that said, i don't want to spend more than $100 (preferably less) on a device (tank, battery, resistor.. etc). Any help you guys could throw at me or point me to some other threads would be great. Thanks in advance!

There are a lot of folks that order from fasttech.com--great prices although they ship from overseas so it'll take a week or two for your gear to arrive.

I recommend the innokin SVD ($37 with the express kit) or MVP 2 ($45 with a clearomizer or two). Both are an excellent value and variable voltage.

If you go with the SVD, you'll need to pick up some unregulated panasonic batteries with your order and a charger.

As for a tank system, the protank II is a good value at around $12. Pick up a couple and then a few packs of replacement heads.

Ditto on Fasttech and the svd. They have it in a kit with the iclear 30's which is awesome atomizers/clearomizers. Get the green Sony batts (imr) or the Panasonic cgr18650ch (if they have stock). Both of these are safer chemistry and therefore better/safer.

Then get the nitecore charger, and you're golden!

Thanks for your replies. I ended up going with a Joyetech eVic and an Evod tank. I'll be moving to the new deveida tanks after this one. Thanks again!
