I have had a lot of trouble with my setup, and i just cant seem to find a sweet spot for it. Right now i am vaping a juice thats on my Eleg Mini is way too mild but gives a good amount of vape. But on the Smok the same juice(or any other i have tried) has an extreme throat hit and the vape itelf becomes almost boiling hot.

I have tried to put on a drip tip but that only seems to make it worse. Also trying to inhale harder or slower dosent do anything.

I am using it at the lowest possible wattage for the atomizers, any lower and there is no real vape production from it.

I dont thing anyone would like to smoke it as hot as this, but i simply cant figure out where i went wrong. Is there a setting somewhere i missed ?

The Cloud Beast is a hot vapor tank. I am running my coils way lower than the recommendation and still getting plenty of vapor.

I'm using the V8T6 coils at 70 watts and it's still a hot, short hit.

If you don't like it, you need a new tank. The RX200 you have is great for any tank.

I do not know what tank you are using on the Rx 200 I have the Rx200s and I have used many RTA' and RDA's on it as well as standard sub ohm tanks and have never had an issue with this mod. Currently as I write I am using an Ijoy Limitless RTDA with a tripple coil configuration the resistance reading is 0.15ohm and at 60W it is as sweet as. I am using 60vg and 40pg mix and japanese cotton. I actually prefer my Rx200s in comparision to the Ijoy Maxi Quod which while on two battery configuration is ok but when you attempt to load 4 x 18650 batteries into it which you are told you can do problems start as the battery door is too hard to close and it bows and rocks on your desk.

Hmm... how many watts is that lowest setting you are running it on? And what resistance does the coil measure?

Too hot... to much throat hit... My first thought is airflow. What airflow setting do you have the atomizer set on?
Anything above 30W becomes extremely harsh and hot with a tight MTl-airflow.

It depends on the atomizer, but something that is recomnded at 90 i might run on 50 and its still way too hot, and i dont really get any vape from it.

Yep its very wrong for me, here is some pics of the setup.

I have tried 7 coils so far and same result so its def not the coils.

I think im just going to drop my cloud beast, can you recomend something else that has a cool but full vape, i like a lot of smoke and taste but without feeling like im sucking up lava :)

Kind of hard to tell from the pic but as mentioned more airflow would be cooler. Looks like you have the airflow restricted to maybe half.
Maybe try dropping 5-10 watts and opening the airflow a bit. I don't have the beast but have heard it is hot if you restrict the air needed to cool the coils.

Oh and what's the pg and nic level in your juice, these will cause throat hit in a heavy cloud tank.

Yeah... I think the Cloud Beast is just not for you.
It is the most extreme clearo available on the market. So not necessarily a surprise.

Opening the airflow would help with the temperature.. but.. this atomizer is just a bad fit
for you.

Lots of vapor and cool. 20W-40W maybe. I'd say go for an Aspire Atlantis Evo.
It will also fit a wide range of coils of other manufacturers, e.g. the Vaporesso cCells.

If it came with the RBA (rebuildable atomizer), put that in. You'll have to wick it with the cotton. You can probably get a good 20-30 watt vape off what it comes with. Plus you'll learn coil building.

On the TFV4 (which is a similar device to the TVF8 Baby) I use 7-8 loops of 24 gauge, or 7-8 of 3-4 twisted 26-28 gauge. It's really quick and easy to do... I have 4 Smok TFV4's, and I've never bought a replacement coil. There's no need with the RBA. My vape has a cloud, nice temperature and flavor. It's not a cloud beast like this, but I don't need that. I have a dripper (RDA) for clouds.

If you get a Smok TFV4, make sure you add on the TF-RCA (clapton rba). It's the easiest to coil up, otherwise it looks like a Baby Beast comes with an RBA. You can youtube how to use it, etc. It's cheaper in the long run.

Don't understand why you say the CB is too hot
Its true you can't MTL with these tanks but I run mine at 125w with 100% VG no problem at all..wide open airflow is plenty for a cooler vape at these higher wattages

CloudBeast was meant for clouds, like this pic I typically get at 125w.
In fact I like the clouds I blow on these tanks so much I put my RDA's back on the shelf..lol
And got two BabyBeast tanks too,
they are awesome as well..just my 2¢, :)

The baby beast is probably more up your alley @AndersDk. Even that one can crank out some nice clouds, but the flavor is much better since you'll be running it at a lower wattage.
I second that!

These two BabyBeast tanks with the .15 ohm T8 coils vape nicely on both the white IPVD3 and Wismec Presa around 65-70w..decent clouds but awesome flavor..good little subohm tank for sure..

I vote nay to the baby beast. Sure it runs at somewhat lower wattages.
But it's still a "cloudchasing" tank imo and i estimate there's a fair chance that this
will still be too much for you.

I would NEVER recommend the cloud or baby beast as a first choice atomizer for a newbie (i know you are not, but still).
Totally over the top for the purpose of just quitting the cigs and have an ejoyable vape;
with high consumption of battery life and juice, that just might put you off.
And a fair chance that this is still just too much/hot.

If you want to cloudchase and are too lazy to make your own coils, that's where these fit in imo.

OP has a 200w mod..good batt for either CB or BB..
Depends if he is a tootler puffer or prefers DL
Lazy?
Being too lazy to build a cloud blowin RDA doesn't apply to everyone..some people prefer the simplicity and convince of prebuilt coils.. others don't have the knowledge to roll their own, especially a newbie..
