I ordered all these juices on the June 30th received them july 1st

Heard lots of good things about mtbakervapor so i decided to try a few juices from them. there prices are very good and shipping was extremely quick. Mtbakervapor claims there juices are made to order and may require steeping. I have never had much luck with steeping and the flavor has never gotten any better or worse from steeping in my experience. So needless to say I don't consider steeping when taste testing. However these juices have been sitting for about 4 days before i tried them.

all juices i ordered were 50/50 vg/pg blend @ 12mg with 1 additional flavor shot. vaped all these juices on a RBA at 1.7ohms, and cleaned and dried thoroughly after each juice testing

Juices ordered: Butterscotch Tobacco, Cinnamon Roll, Butter Toffee. They did send me a free sample of Hawk Sauce 30ml 18mg 80/20 pg/vg. I thought that was very nice of them and really appreciated it.

Butterscotch Tobacco:

I ordered this juice because I do like RY4 so I thought maybe this could be a nice juice. The juice is really dark rendering it a coil killer for sure. The vapor is on par with a 50/50 blend but the throat hit is very mild at any voltage or wattage i set it at. The tobacco flavor in this juice was very artificial and tasted perfumey and chemically. I have never had a tobacco flavor taste perfumey but some how this flavor managed to. It may have been the butterscotch flavor mixing with the tobacco flavor causing this taste. However the butterscotch flavor is very hard to pick out. Its very very mild so i cant really comment on the butterscotch because there wasn't enough in the juice for me to break it down and try to describe it. The tobacco is a sweeter tobacco almost like a pipe tobacco even.
All in all this juice is not something that has rendered vapable for me and I do give it a :nah:.

Butter Toffee:

This juice really sparked my interest because I am big fan of butterscotch, caramel and toffee vapes. Vapor production is on par with a 50/50 and throat hit is extremely light for a 12mg. The juice is rather clear with a very very mild yellow tinge to it, it almost resembles plain VG. It might as well have been all VG because there really isn't any flavor in this juice. Either they forgot to put the right amount of flavor in this juice or its a huge :nah:. No idea what happened but the butterscotch flavor is maybe 5% potency at best. I find it hard to believe because I did add a additional flavor shot to all the juices ordered and the label confirms it, so I am a little confused. Unfortunately I cant really comment on the flavor because its not there. If anyone from mtbaker is reading this could you let me know if this was a accidental QC issue or is this how its suppose to be?

It does get a automatic :nah: if its a QC issue for me. If its suppose to be like this then well :nah::nah::nah:, would like to see some flavor in there.

Cinnamon Roll:

This juice was a light orange when i got it but has turned a shade darker over the last few days. The vapor production on this juice is great and on par with a 50/50 blend and throat hit is good but maybe on par with a 9 or 10mg not quite a 12mg. This juice does give you that very nice pastry flavor of a cinnamon roll, mixed with a nice cinnamon note. I don't taste much of the icing flavor in there but it is there. Its a rather sweet vape so I couldn't all day vape it. The cinnamon does bother my taste buds after awhile of vaping it so i have to put it down and move to something else. I find that if i vape it over and over again the flavor seems to lose its luster, and that's prob the cinnamon flavor doing that. Is it the best cinnamon roll vape i ever had?? umm No its not but its definitely up there in the top 5 prob at 4.

This juice does get a :thumb:. I did enjoy this vape and I would recommend it to someone looking for a pastry vape.

Hawk Sauce:

This was the juice given to me for free as a sample. The vapor is good and on par with a 50/50 blend. The throat hit is extremely light. Before i mention the flavor let me say this, it came with two additional flavor shots. I think this juice may have just way too much flavor in it. When i open the bottle it smells amazing like a sour key candy. The flavor is very different from the smell in this circumstance. I don't know whats in it and I cant even tell you because there website doesn't even describe what flavors are in it but i can say it does have fruity tones to it. It also has a sour tartness to it but I feel like its a menthol vape. it has this weird cooling effect in the pallet if that makes sense. It also has a really strong chemical taste to it, also on the perfumy side as well. I think its really overwhelming and rendered unvapeable for me. It might be because it has 2 additional flavor shots in it. Maybe if it had the normal amount of flavor i would like it? I don't know but this is how I got it so this is how I am going to review it.

This juice does get a :nah: in my books. I really wish it tasted like it smelled.

thanks for reading!

"juice is subjective. what taste bad to me might taste good to you or vice versa"

**EDIT**
revisted the butterscotch tobacco and i have this to add. it taste a lot like a baby cream that is used for diaper rash smells. oh my unvapeable. had to add that, because when i tried it again tonight it made me laugh when i finally figured out what i couldn't describe lol. its nasty lol. well "To me" it is. if anyone cares to try it please feel free to pm me.

Not to sound rude, so please don't take it like that! :) But whether you're a steeper or not doesn't mean anything towards whether the juice needs steeped or not. Of course, what you mentioned may apply to some juices, or some juice brands in general, but not all juices are like that, not at all.

Many MBV juices NEED Steeping, some only benefit slightly from it, while others it's an absolute MUST or it's going to be terrible (Like you mentioned on the tobacco, probably the toffee too, but tobacco for sure)

For non-tobacco juices from MBV many will taste much better after 2 weeks, and then even better after 3-4. Some do not change at all, but those are few and far between. Sure some will also only change slightly or not really noticeable like you mentioned, but those are in the few and far between category and I don't think any of the juices you ordered fit into this category.

Please set them aside for at least 2 weeks then try again, may need closer to three weeks since you added flavor. The tobacco one may be best after a month or more, and it may also benefit from letting it air out for a day with the cap and dripper off (Day not month :))

In the future, plan to steep for two weeks at least on these juices. Sure you can taste and try when they arrive, and even if they are good I'd still set them aside to steep for a bit, unless you don't have other juices, because they're only going to get better with steeping especially if you like them already on day one. Ones that taste or smell particularly alcohol-y or perfume-y go ahead and air out a day as mentioned above, then steep for two weeks, same applies for ones you think taste bad on arrival.

Also, I would suggest not getting any extra flavor shots until you have tried the juice flavor first without them, since some might be exactly what you wanted without any additional flavor. Adding flavor before you try without might transform a juice you'd otherwise love into a juice you hate due to too much flavor. Of course some might end up being weak to you this way, but at least you wont have wasted/unvapeable juice because you'll still be able to vape the weaker flavor, and then you'll know you want that one stronger next time.

Hope this helps, and hope you saved those juices so you can have a chance to hopefully enjoy them after a good steep!

If you still end up hating them after testing again later, you can give away or trade if you want in the PIF section

Like I have said I don't believe steeping does anything. Been at this for 2.5 years and steeping has never made a difference. I have tried A LOT of vendors and it has never made a difference. I have them with to bottle top off for a day before I tried them. They will go to the back of the shelf. Maybe a in. Few months if I am in a pinch I might try them again. I Prob won't order from them again just because I don't like the flavorings they use not because they aren't a good company. If people like there juices enjoy it, they have awesome prices and fast shipping so that's a bonus.

I know what you said, and I read it a time or two to be sure as I replied, did you really hear my advice though? Even if you've been at this for 100 years, this is your first time trying MBV, and like I said the flavorings they use sometimes really require a few weeks steeping on some juices.

I did agree with you, some or a lot of juice do not need or benefit from steeping, but many of this companies due, mainly due to the flavoring brand used.

I know what you mean, but please trust me, these will taste different for you in 2 weeks, to a month. Glad you are sitting them aside, hope you try them in a couple weeks and they turned into something you like. If not, they just might not be the flavors for your palate, hope you can find ones you do like if you ever do order again.

I strongly agree with Aurora... Many of the flavors I ordered from MBV were TERRIBLE immediately after receiving and I was very disappointed... Having come back to re-try them a month later, I was completely blown away by the change. Quite a few of them are now phenomenal vapes for me.

Do yourself a favor... Just try them ALL again in a month.

Well they certainly say everyone's different...in my last experience ordering 10 MBV flavors (plus an awesome "stardew pearberry" they threw in free), I liked everything within the first week (it took me that long to try all of them) EXCEPT the cinnamon roll. That one's been sitting, maybe I'll try it again down the road. But as of last night I've got another 10 bottles on the way with a total 195ml of juice for just over $50 - can't beat that with a stick, considering I paid $40 for 60ml worth of juice from a local B&M last week. Only problem is that now I'm as overstocked on juice as I am on Ego batteries and clearos...someone please hide my credit cards.

I will say I agree with the reviews. Even after steeping, MBV flavors still have an aftertaste to them that I just don't like.

I do have a Hawk Sauce exactly like yours - 30ml 80/20 with 2 shots. I can tell you that even after a month, it still tastes like chemicals. Zero throat hit. Hawk Sauce has potential to be one of the best MBV flavors though if there wasn't that chemical taste. And it smells soo good!
