it is a nutty and Carmel and tobacco to me. it is perfect for my all day vape. But that is the same description I have read about Rye 4...LOL but that is my take anyway. will be waiting to her what others say also.

. I have tried RY4 and it does sound similiar. At least know I know what flavor "group" this goes into. 
It's like eating roasted, salted peanuts. I don't taste much caramel in it. Some are more peanutty and tobacco-y, others are more subtle. V4L premium flavor is very mild and pleasant. I prefer the kinder, gentler version.

I would offer you a sample but I'm out. The new premium V4L 555 is only available in 30 ml bottles, so I'm waiting for sample sizes to make sure it's the same flavor I tasted in the premium cartomizer. I liked it a lot. But it is peanutty!
Glad to see that there are other 555 lovers. It is definitely an acquired taste. I have tried many brands and have found Nhaler HV to be the most consistent and yummy. Plus, it mixes well with Peanut Butter Cup, Cafe Macchiato, and Cafe Mocha Tobacco. Well, I have different moods, but 555 is my everyday vape.
There seems to be 2 different groups: RY4 lovers and 555 lovers. I do not like RY4 at all, it's too sweet, the description of the flavor sounds good, but it's not for me. Anywho, my 2 cents.....happy vaping!

V4L is the only 555 I have tried so far, I do have some coming from strictly e-juice. To me, the flavor is a smooth tobacco with a whole peanut taste...like shell and all kind of whole peanut. It isn't sweet like RY4. I have become obsessed with the flavor, and I want MORE! V4L is currently out of all bottles of 555 juice, so I ordered boxes of cartomizers, and I'm currently searching out other suppliers.

No, I tried the PG cartomizer in the premium tobacco sampler. It was very good and milder than the original. But right now they seem to be out of 555 altogether. Very popular flavor. I like it because I'm not a tobacco flavor fan, but there is something about 555 that is a perfect substitute for an analog. Don't know why, works for me. Every other tobacco flavor tastes, to my taste buds, like I imagine eating a cigarette would taste...
555 fans should know that there are only two vendors who currently sell their own (i.e. non-Boge/Dekang based) 555 juice: DIY Flavorshack and Alien Visions. Everyone else, including Cignot, V4L, Nhaler, SEJ etc sell either straight-up Dekang 555 (eg. SEJ or V4L) or dilute Boge/Dekang 555 with VG and/or PG (eg. Nhaler, Awesome Vapor).
V4L has direct laboratory access/oversight, so they are apparently working with the Dekang techs on bringing back the popular "original recipe" 555 flavor they were selling a few months ago. Many of us 555 freaks have our fingers crossed for that as it was truly a distinct, epic 555 flavor. Until that happens, the choices are DIYFS (which I did not like very much), Alien Visions (better IMHO), and good ole' Dekang...whatever bottle/wrapper vendors are selling it in.

yeah once they cam back online they didn't have most of mtheir flavors. give it a week or so. it should be back.
Alien Visions 555 has no "nutty" taste at all....very disappointed in the bottle I bought a few weeks ago.

You might want to try a sample of DIYFS' 555 then... which I found to be basically a straight-up nut flavor (like pecan-hazelnutish) and as such, not really vapable for me. If you like the nutty essence in 555 you might like DIY's though, or perhaps mix the two (DIYFS and AV) to your liking. I have experimented by mixing AV 555 with Dekang 555 and it was pretty tasty. Still, I pray for the return of V4L's original recipe Dekang blend, which is the tastiest, most complex 555 flava I've ever had... no mixing/adjustment necessary!

Can anyone else second this? Could it have been a bad batch or is it just lacking?
It's hard to describe since flavor is so abstract/subjective but the AV 555 seems to be much less nut flavor then DIYFS 555, with several (but unfortunately not all) of the components that distinguish 555 as a unique flavor. I can't tell you how jonesing I am for the good old V4L original.
