Start reviews on the sites you review on and make YouTube videos of yourself reviewing there product. If you get enough views, then eventually you might start getting free stuff to review. The main thing is the views though

alright. what about reaching out to companies? would that be a good idea? or would it give off a bad image?

My assumption is the larger viewer base the more apt a company would be to lend you gear to review. I wouldn't expect anyone to lend me anything to review with zero subscribers. As was mentioned work with you have, make videos, do different builds, tutorials, battery safety, cleaning, tools used, whatever, get a good foundation and see where it takes you. Shoot me a PM and I'll subscribe

P.s. on a side note, I thought about getting into motovlogging, it is a lot harder than I thought to talk aloud to my helmet for 10-15 minutes about whatever topic I have in mind. The conversation flows freely inside the cage that is my skull, but I always seem to stop talking and focus on the bike  lol

For me, I do reviews for fun. I'm natural a shy person. Meaning, if you met me in person I couldn't even say "hi" to you without stuttering. I do reviews/videos because in a sense with me opening up and trying to speak clearly in a video it's helping me with being less shy.

I've reviewed products I bought and i do videos with my BRZ for fun. I don't expect free stuff, but if I do then great. I like working and buying what I have. It's more rewarding at the end of the day that way. I am at 500 subscribers though, but I just started doing vape related things. I've been reached out one time for juice reviews on Instagram. They messaged me and not sure if they'll go through with sending me juice. Time will tell if I get a package or not.

I guess that's all a matter of how comfortable you feel asking for free stuff. Personally, I wouldn't do it unless I had a solid viewer base built up. I'm sure that some companies get bombarded all the time by every jackhole with a web cam looking for swag.
