As elder vapors we always get the question, which is the best RDA's.

I'll do a small review of hot RDA's on the market that I purchased directly from fasttech. Maybe some of you can use it to your advantage. By all means these are my personal reviews and you may feel differently. I just thought I would do something to help the community on making mistakes. Please add to this review if all possible. Mind you since most of us purchase from fasttech, I'll use them in my experience only. However, most of the clone RDA's I purchase I have a genuine to backup my findings. I just like to have two of the same just in case.

These are the most recent purchases from Fasttech.

Magma RDA
-Very nicely made and upon inspection, it looks like to specs.
-Fasttech version needs heavy cleaning because, after simple cleaning I still tasted the oils from the build process. As you know the RDA is a vapor machine and it just demonstrated every little contamination effected the vape. I ended up deep cleaning with 50/50 rubbing alcohol.
-Everything appear to have stainless steel screws and no rusting was found.
-Overall, from clone to authentic, no vape difference with same coil specifications.
-I love this RDA even though it's a clone.

Veritas RDA
-Nice build but stainless finish is tad different.
-Soak test everything seems to be stainless steel.
-Size seems somewhat different upon closer inspection.
-The internals are smaller on the clone. Everything else to the naked eye appears the same. If you didn't own the authentic, you wouldn't know the difference.
-vaping feels the same but knowing the internals aren't the same, it feels different. Might be mind illusions but it just seems that way.
-Intake sounds a little different. Am I being to geeky on this.
-As some of you know, I probably own the most IHybrid Mods on this forum. Probably the most critical towards that as well. I really love their stuff.

Tugboat RDA
-Everything seems the same.
-Speaking about version 1 which has the stainless steel center post. V2 has the copper I believe.
-Soak test, failed all screws are not stainless steel. The screws were all rusted after 1 hour soak in water.
-I did not test the vape because of the rusted out screws. Trashed.

Origin RDA
-Build is great, appears to be 1 to 1.
-The lower ring is only different, which the authentic is shiny and the clone is machine finish.
-Dripper area is close to the same including allen screws.
-No rust found after soak test.
-Vapes really well dual coil, just like the authentic. Single coil seems somewhat looser. Like there is a air leak even though I set to single draw opening.
-I somewhat love this RDA even though its a clone. Just single coil seems loose.

Taurus RDA (I didn't have an authentic to compare)
-Someone forgot to drill the extra hole.
-Build is good but the draw is so tight with a SINGLE hole.
-I ended up drilling out the single hole, vaped and trashed it. Didn't seem to be worth the trouble.
-You can buy aftermarket caps but again I didn't try because I trashed it.
-Why would you have dual coil setup on the base and have a single opening on the top cap.

Trident RDA
-Very nice build and purchased the brass version.
-Dual or single coil settings.
-The vapor chamber is small so flavor is really good.
-No rusting in soak test.
-Difference comparing the authentic vs the clone is the air adjustment on clone is frustrating tight.
-Vapes really well and highly recommend.

Tobh RDA version 1
-Very nice build except on hybrid install, it doesn't sit all the way down. Bother me, I'm weird like that.
-It's about the same as the original.
-Very simple RDA so not too much to it.
-Vapes the same as the authentic. Fins, does it help on clone, hmmm I don't know. I think it's kind of gimmick and rather have delrin as heat insulator.
-Highly recommend this one.

Plume Veil
-Nice build but I really hate the way the delrin top adjusts. Even on the authentic. Feels looser on the clone.
-I like it without the top delrin ports like the Notorious Mod. The whole body is delrin and removed the top delrin holes.
-This thing authentic or clone delivers clouds. The air flow is the same, again I hate the top cap holes.
-Soak test, everything seems stainless steel.
-Haven't tried yet but waiting for the new top caps for tobh from Fasttech, I believe they fit on this guy. Would improve vape on this.

Enigma V2
-Nice build if you say so. The authentic seems like a clone with the graphics never lining up right inside the bevels.
-Everything else seems the same. I would honestly say it would be better to purchase the clone. OH what, because of the price.
-This guy vapes really hard. Authentic or clone seems the same. This one whistles and boom huge cloud.
-Soak test is good.
-Highly recommend this RDA, but only to cloud vapors. Flavor is so so.

ELM RDA
-Hmm this things very close to real.
-Only draw back the o rings are really loose. I ended using dental floss to tighten the o rings.
-Only comes as a hybrid dripper. Fits ELM authentic mod and clone as well.
-Vape quality is really good with vertical coils.
-Highly recommend it if you own mod that accepts hybrid connector.

I'll continue with this because I'm getting a few more items from Fasttech in the next week. Mind you I have few more RDA's I purchased from Fasttech but I will not review. I ended up tossing because they self destructed in the build process. Like for example the DOME. Glass cracked installing the cap.

I just found this thread... AFTER I just placed an order for the plume veil... oh well, I would have still ordered it since I've had my eye on it for a while now.

I also have my eye on the vulcan SKU 1847004, as well as the Mutation X SKU 1859606. I'd like to have a TOBH but it's lower down on my list.

I did purchase the Storm A a while back, SKU 1707002. I though the design was unique and would be interesting to build on. I was right, building the thing is interesting, bit of a pain but not the worst I've dealt with. Having separate juice wells for each coil was a bit of a design flaw to me but it did allow me to experiment with different juice combos to see what the flavor is like by putting different juices on each coil. I've also done a non-standard build on it without wick by using longer leads and sinking the coil down into the juice wells.

Excellent reviews though, much appreciated

Every clone atty I have purchased has a few things in common. Nothing short of a douche in some sort of astringent followed by a good boiling will get the machine oil out of all the nooks and crannies. They are inexpensive compared to authentics. Some but not all clones seem to work as well as authentic. A ten buck copy may be a crapshoot compared to it's hundred buck model. Clones, just like authentics may be something that works but it is an individual choice as to how it is working.

Excellent reviews. I tend to be a tank user but just ordered the ss magma friday from FT to try out.

I got one a while back, it's terrific. Single or dual, it's just so easy to build on and adjust as you go along.

I would add that some of the machining leaves the finished edges a little sharp - especially around the logos on the top cap. Nothing dangerous, but might be a little uncomfortable. Also, this is a tall atty, if you don't have an adjustable 510 pin, it will sit proud of whatever you put it on.

Great post OP, thanks for the reviews. You might want to consider heading over the large FT thread in the General vaping section or even the dedicated FT forum, I am sure these reviews would be well received over there too.
