High tech solution for bring a dead auto batt back to life:
One of the batties for my J118 died. This is what I did. I took it (battery only) in my fist and pounded on my knee real hard - LED up and then LED down. Then I put the connector end in my mouth and sucked on it real hard, blew on it real hard, and repeated a couple of time. Now it is as good as new!!!
juice can leak into the hole in the battery and gunk up the little vacuum activated switch that is in there. Happens all the time. I wonder how many batts I have thrown away that I could have fixed this way?
I know you don't have this problem with manual batts - but I have having to push buttons.
