First, thanks to this forum for all of the reviews, feedback, etc.. I've based all my desicins on you guys.

Now, on with the Revolver review.

I've had my Revolver for a few weeks now, and am very happy with it. I've had the Vapor King, which I really liked except for the burning cartomizers (no matter where you get them from), and the manual 510 with PCC etc., which I found to be messy and not what it was all hyped-up to be. So, I found the Revolver site, and decided to give it a whirl.

I'll base the review on: Overall Performance, Hardware, Vapor Production and Throat Hit, Price Point, Website, and Customer Service. All these things are important to me, but maybe not crucial to you, so please keep that in mind.

Please note: I purchased the Revolver, I do not work for Revolver nor do I know anyone who does, and they have given me nothing for free.

Overall Performance
****1/2

I'm very pleased with this little kit. The vapor is great, the flavor is great, I like it's durability, the PCC is durable and mostly acceptable (I'll get into that later), and it's my favorite PV to date. I believe that they have really thought this out, and will continue to deliver great products as innovations in vaping continue. There are little issues here and there, but definately a 4 1/2 out of 5 star rating.

Hardware
****

The PCC is the star, when it works properly. I have to reset it often. It's a smart PCC, but like any other electronic, you must be smarter than it. You must check to make sure your ecig is charging after the first button press. If it turns green, you must reset the pack. The construction is solid, and I LOVE the fact that it holds a full assembled ecig! The graphics are perfectly acceptable, and it feels good in the pocket

The batteries are great for their size and consistant 'till the end. They don't last long, but charge very quickly, about a half hour.

The atties produce great vapor and throat hit, and are consistant as long as you keep them nice and wet.

I wish the carts held more, but they refill nicely and you can drip on these atties. One problem, the polyfill can sometimes get attached to the atty when you replace. I HATE POLYFILL! The PTB mod works fine. I've not experienced any burning or plasticky taste, so far better than my KR808 or 510 carts. For the price, I'm not complaining.

Vapor Production and Throat Hit
****

Great Vapor, medium throat hit. Superior for it's size.

Price Point
*****

Very well priced in my opinion. No dealing with China, free shipping over $20, fast, 5 for $5 carts, inexpensive replacement parts. Glad I spent my money on this.

Website
*****

One of the nicest out there. I'm .....y, and I like nice looking things. Maybe it doesn't matter to most, but I prefer a professional website that's organized and clean, not one that looks like a teenager with poor grammar threw it together and stuck a paypal cart on it. They spent time and money on their sitew and it shows. Their stock is limited, but I expect that to change as they are so new.

Customer Service
*****

Can't say enough. Had a little issue, and it was taken care of immediately. Lightning fast response time, great communication. Compareable to V4L, he's very good too. It's obvious that they care about their business, and integrity.

_________

I'm recommending Revolver to all new vape-ers and vets. You won't regret this affordable investment when you realize the results.

Hope this helps!

I had similar experience for the first 2 weeks with my Revolver, but shortly after it kinda went to crap. I had one battery completely die, my other battery has become really stiff on the draw. One atty has been working great the month ive had it, but the other one seems to have never really broken in, used it for a while, but couldnt get much vapor or flavor out of it.

The PCC works OK as long as you dont let it get to a full charge. Once it gets to a full charge, I have all sorts of problems, have to reset it a couple of times, or sometimes the blue light will just stay on. I found that if you take the whole thing apart and bridge a couple of pins on the chip, it will reset completly and fix that problem though.

I emailed customer service, never got a reply, so cant say much about that....

One thing I read in the reviews though that I havent experienced is the battery life/charge time. For me, steady vaping gets me about 35-40 minutes of life, and recharging takes about 45 minutes, much different than the 15min life/recharge time that was spoken about in a few reviews.

I am one of the first revolver customers and have had mine for over 6 weeks now.

Freaking amazing!

I've had 6 different brands of e-cigs, and for the last month, the only two brands/versions I still use are the Revolver Elite Duo and Puresmoker Protege.

These two devices go everywhere I do.

I have the original Smart PCC, so yeah I have to reset it almost weekly, but this surprisingly small device keeps up with my protege in flavor and vapor production.

In a side by side comparison (with the same e-liquid), the two are indistinguishable in vapor output. Some flavors taste better on the elite and others taste better on the protege. I use DIYflavorshack's liquids on both with an occasional Johnson Creek's Original thrown in once or twice a week.

Why two types of e-cigs?
I use them both throughout the day but for different reasons. I drip exclusively on the elite and use re-filled 510 carts on the protege (which may be why the vapor production equals out--dripping usually produces more vapor for me).

The protege is great while driving or when I can't take the time to drip or when it isn't easy to drip (like in a dark area), plus there's no LED on the protege which also makes it theater friendly. Other than that, I use the elite.

If the battery lasted a little longer and if the carts weren't leaks-waiting-to-happen, it would probably be my only e-cig. Some say they mod the carts, but... I'm not a heavy vaper, so I only need a few hits every now and then. If my Elite sits for an hour, it leaks. If I mod the cart to the point it no longer leaks, the flavor or vapor suffers way too much.

Even with the few minuses, it's just too hard not to like this VERY SMALL hard working device and I simply don't want to be without it. I absolutely concur with the OP's ratings.

In 6 weeks, I'm STILL using the original atomizers and batteries and they perform flawlessly (though I clean all of my gear every week).

Regardless of what others say, these atomizers are MADE for dripping. The exposed bridge is easy to see and drip onto, and the huge bridge holds a full 2 drops (and sometimes more depending on the thickness of the liquid) without getting flooded. This small amount lasts at least 12-14 drags for me and equals about one analog.

In my forum signature, I rate the protege higher, but only because, it can be made to work with any atomizer, the batts can last for 8-12 hours of my amount of vaping, and it looks like a small lightsaber :D

But for what it is, the Elite Duo is an incredible package with an extremely well-designed atomizer and for a great price.

Some additional info:

I ordered some silver batteries from revolver but personally can't recommend them. They work just like the stock batteries and they look cool enough, but they are some crazy-slippery little buggers, which makes it difficult to get a grip and twist of an atty.

Whereas the stock batteries have ridges on them that make the device easy to grip, these silver batts are simply too smooth and prone to getting dropped, in my opinion.

Also, as far as customer service, Revolvercig.com has been a pleasure to deal with.
