rewick protank 3 coils ?

So yeah basically I've searched a lot before asking here but is it possible, without rebuilding a coil to just change the silica wicks for coton in tne protank 3 dual coils ?The only response I've found in the forums was that it was really hard. Is that really ? See I don't (for the moment) want to go rebuilding and stuff but the coton thing seems nice on protank 2 and single coil clearo...

I just gave it a try after reading your post and its not hard at all. Just make sure you dry burn the coils before adding your cotton and wash your hands good before rolling the cotton. Damn, I'm getting nice thick clouds of vapor!

IMHO,
you can just use PT2 and cotton details and experience
to build it for your PT3 as well

dont forget that you can use PT2 coils on PT3
not pt3 in pt2.

I build single coils with cotton wick for my PT3. It is very easy to do and gives IMO a better vape then the stock coils. I think I tried to pull the silica wick out of a stock PT3 once and just buggered up the coils.

I've done it. Just be careful and make sure that when you are all done that your coil is not touching the sides of the chimney.

i tried replacing silica with cotton on my PT3 and personally didnt like it. but i may have messed something up. i will stick to turning my DC into single coils at a higher ohm. been loving my 3 +/- 0.3 ohm coil i built working on the 3rd rewick, using it with a vamo v3
