I don't have any wire so I just removed the old wick,burned the coil,it appeared clean then replaced the wick with some cotton my wife had for the first aid kit..First few vapes had a slight cotton taste,now it's great..Actually better air flow than the stock wick..I thought I had it packed a bit snug but all is well..Bob

Nice one oldbob!!! The wire on the sub ohms can be cleaned and rewicked many times.

Yeah, I've rewicked them many times now. It takes just minutes and it's even faster with the japanese cotton pads since the fibers are already in line and pop in quickly with a 7mm block of the stuff. With all these tank wars going on and the quality/price of them it's a great time to be vaping.
