Rewinding kanger dual coils?

Looking for info about rewinding dual coils. I have been rewinding coils for my mini protank 2 for a while now, and would like to do the same for a couple of t3d that I have. I have been winding them with a single coil and would like to try my luck at dual coils. Currently I use 5 wraps of 30g kanthal for single coils, and get 1.8-2.0 ohms I would have to use too many wraps of 30g, so I got some 34g any advice would be appreciated. I use ekcowool wicks.
